| According to Nielsen Media Research for the just completed November Sweep, ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” had its best sweep ever in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. Averaging 3.52 million Total Viewers and 1.26 million Adults 25-54, “This Week” posted its best sweep delivery in both demos since November, 2000. Mr. Stephanopoulos became the show’s anchor in September, 2002.
“This Week” has beaten CBS’ “Face the Nation” in both demos for three consecutive November sweeps. This also marks “This Week’s” largest total viewing lead (410,000) over “Face” in eight years. George Stephanopoulos is the anchor of “This Week” and Ian Cameron is the executive producer. The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
