THE FINALE OF “SURVIVOR: GABON” OUTDELIVERS LAST MAY’S “SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA” IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS

The finale of SURVIVOR: GABON outdelivered last May’s finale of “Survivor: Micronesia” in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Dec. 14.

Note:  Due to CBS’s late running football (until 7:31 PM, ET), long running SURVIVOR FINALE ratings (an extra 8-9 minutes long) and  time period rankings are tentative and subject to change. 

From 8:30-10:30 PM, SURVIVOR: GABON was second in households (7.8/12), viewers (13.76m), adults 25-54 (5.7/12) and adults 18-49 (4.5/10).

 Compared to the May 11, 2008 “Survivor: Micronesia” finale, CBS was up +8% in households (from 7.2/12), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 5.5/13), +2% in adults 18-49 (from 4.4/11) and added +810,000 viewers (from 12.95m, +6%).
