Ratings Report for ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos”

AND DEMO DELIVERY IN 7 YEARS

“THIS WEEK” GROWS DOUBLE-DIGITS AMONG

TOTAL VIEWERS AND A25-54 VS. 4Q 2007

ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” beat CBS’ “Face the Nation” among both Total Viewers and the key Adults 25-54 demographic for the second consecutive 4th quarter, according to Nielsen Media Research. This is “This Week’s” best 4^th quarter Total Viewer and demo delivery in seven years (since 4^th quarter 2001). It also marks the fifth consecutive quarter “This Week” has outperformed “Face the Nation.”

“This Week” also grew double digits compared to 4^th quarter 2007.  Among Total Viewers, “This Week” increased 26% and among Adults 25-54, the program increased 24%. “This Week” beat “Face” by 200,000 Total Viewers and 40,000 Adults 25-54.

George Stephanopoulos is the anchor of “This Week” and Ian Cameron is the executive producer. The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
