NBC has given the thumbs up to 12 more episodes of the Howie Mandel hidden-camera comedy “Howie Do It,” the network announced Thursday. The episodes are already in production.

Mr. Mandel’s show premiered earlier this month and has increased NBC’s low-rated Friday 8 p.m. hour by 64 percent in adults 18-49 vs. earlier this season.

“‘Howie Do It’ has proven to be a solid performer for NBC on Friday nights,” said Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of alternative programming for NBC and Universal Media Studios.

Thank god. I was so worried this show might get canceled. I mean seriously this is what NBC has to offer the viewing public? Well it seems to be the not viewing public actually. I can’t figure out how BS has that job.

  3. Clearly this a low-budgetted show and its friday

This show is so embarrassing. I am embarrassed for NBC that they are proud to be renewing it. Garbage TV at its worst!
