Nick, I can correct your typo-lisp if you like. Dirty Sexy J is missed!

Neps, I'm not sure if you called us anything, but even if you did, I'm sure I have been called worse, both online and offline. I am going to shut the comments down on this post now. (Holly, I didn't mean shut off all comments on all posts, but ~130 here will hopefully tide people over until at least next Wednesday).

I was trying to keep quiet while my name got dragged through the mud, but this is just getting silly. Ghost - I don't know what your problem is (but with your IMDB reference, I think I know who you are) but I never attacked the good folks behind the site the way you keep doing towards me. Its completely rude, unprofessional and uncalled for. If you honestly think they had taken offense to anything I've said then you haven't been on the internet very long - I'm sure others have been called them worse.

You're bordering on slander with your accusations and lies. I have never once lied about ratings - I give proper credit to TVByTheNumbers, Zap2It and pifeedback.com on a consistent basis. The only thing I've done is put emphasis on the Millions of Viewers vs the ratings/share system since common people never understand ratings.

Prove me wrong Ghost. You talk and you talk - but you've never proved one thing you state. You talk about maturity, that's laughable.

Things aren't as black and white with SciFi programming - it never is - and specially one that has an established (all be it passionate) fanbase. Look at Sliders, Baywatch, Viper (not including stargate since that was 5 yrs in) - all series moved their main network and thrived on another. 1% isn't as rare as you think.

I think it's time for the comments here to be shut down.

"No wonder Knight Rider sucked and epically failed if the only people who actually liked it were trolling fanboys like them. I bet if you stamped a box of dog crap with the KR logo that neps and his boys would sit and stare at it for weeks on end, lol"

@Ghost Your really “impressed” at the maturity of the Knight Rider Online people, yet you choose to make a statement like that?

hmmmm, but who trolls the trolls then?

Can, we please just stop this? Is it possible to have discourse without rudeness or bashing? The answer might be no, but I'm about ready to turn the comments on these posts off! :(

seriously ghost, stop. stop saying "everybody." it's not everybody.

again, NBC ran no promos. the only promos that were seen as 'series finale' was aired on E! canada, which series/season verbage has different meaning up there. we won't know for sure until NBC puts out their fall schedule.

Actually NBC did put out the word that Knight Rider was cancelled, they called the last episode the series finale in promos that they ran for over the course of the four days leading up to the airing of the show.

And I'm really "impressed" at the maturity of the Knight Rider Online people who've been coming on here, lol, what with them calling everybody "retards" and their leader making juvenile attacks on our site, trying to say the data posted here is "popcorn fodder".

No wonder Knight Rider sucked and epically failed if the only people who actually liked it were trolling fanboys like them. I bet if you stamped a box of dog crap with the KR logo that neps and his boys would sit and stare at it for weeks on end, lol.

In all seriousness, what show could topple Idol?

None, Everybody and their dog watches it.

Knight Rider has been stable, even gaining viewers since the retool. NBC really hasn't done jack all advertising for it so from that perspective, its done well considering.

Internets full of Knight Rider's been cancelled speculation which at this moment in time is just that, "speculation" plain & simple. Plenty of people have also come around, people who were originally not convinced were starting to dig its new direction.

First KR is Not canceled. NBC would have put the word out near the end of the show, or at the most the website. NBC would not keep KR's fans in the dark if the show was canceled.

I have viewed this site lots of times. Some Information is incorrect.

6.10!!!!!!!!! OMG WE HAVE A CONTENDER TO TOPPLE AMERICAN IDOL, SOUND THE ALARM...........

Oh and the week before that the show pulled in under 5 million. Not exactly something to write home about.

TV is a what have you done for me lately. Hence, why nobody is talking about how Heroes was pulling over 8 million and a 3.9 5 weeks ago but how its now below 7 and cant get a 3.5 in the demo.

The simple fact is, the show aired its series finale. Maybe if it was someone critically acclaimed like FNL they would try and save it. But in no way are they going to try and save this crap.

how can anyone really lie about ratings, everyone know the show hasn't been able to pull over 6 million viewers for months and at the weakest hour of the week probably. That's simply pathetic.

Oh and Kitt if you have a problem with us "retards", go run along.

Long live Knight Rider. I hate those bashing retards in this site. Neps is great man! Why would he lie to fans about ratings when anyone could check it by themselves on other websites? He's a good man. Can't wait for a second season!

@Blogger, while I can't verify for certain that Nick C is legit, I can say with a great deal of certainty anything he's stated as fact or data has proved to be true. Quite often, he states opinions I don't agree with, but in this case, I agree with him.

He has KR as canceled and he says an exec at NBC told him that. I have no reason not to believe him. He gives an OPINION that KR has a very, very SLIM chance (1%) that Universal could somehow keep producing it based on international audience. So basically NBC is done with the show and the show has almost no chance for survival. There's not much for me to disagree with there, either based on data, or opinion.
