The April 18 CBS News Broadcast Posts Double-Digit Percentage Increases In All Key Measures
THE EARLY SHOW Saturday edition posted double-digit percentage increases in all key measures for the April 18 broadcast: up +17% each in households, viewers and adults 35-54 (boomers) and up +20% in adults 25-54, compared to the same day last year. The CBS News broadcast also cut the gap with the Saturday edition of “GMA” by 288,000 viewers and by 25% in households, 40% in adults 25-54 and 20% in adults 35-54, compared to last year.
The April 18 broadcast marked the 12th time this season THE EARLY SHOW Saturday edition has posted double-digit percentage increases in adults 25-54 and the 13th time in boomers.
In addition, over the last four weeks (March 23 through April 19) THE EARLY SHOW Saturday edition is up +8% in households, +14% in viewers, +20% in adults 25-54 and +17% in adults 35-54.
