  1. dogone says:

    awesome 5 hours of dwts

  2. Alde says:

First week 5, next ones 4 hours of that crap. That’s frakked up, seriously.

  3. 5506 says:

    on AFV

  4. btw, alert e-mailer noticed a few progs missing Brothers & Sisters, Private Practice and Eastwick. We’ll post the full sched, when it is released.

  5. 5506 says:

What do you think Nick C?

  6. Jon K says:

DWTS is only 5hrs for the first week, then it returns to its normal 3. It looks like “Shark Tank” will end its run on 9/15, so what is ABC airing at Tues 8pm?

  7. Alex says:

That’s a lot of Dancing With The Stars although I don’t suppose you can fault the logic at work – give your new shows a strong lead-in for their debuts but five hours of Dancing in the first week seems incredibly excessive. And Alde it goes from five hours to the ‘normal’ three hours of Dancing a week after the first week of the schedule.

  8. star title says:

    omfg where is shark tank?

  9. Jon K says:

star title, as previously announced Shark Tank is airing Tuesday 8pm 8/9 to 9/15.

  10. star title: my bad. I’d left it off initially because of some airings in August, but its official fall premiere now included above is on Tuesday 9/29

  11. Victor Hugo says:

    I will be watching:

    - The Forgotten
    - Flash Foward
    - Hank
    - The Middle
    - Cougar Town

  12. Julia says:

Since they recast Rupert Penry-Jones, I won’t be watching The Forgotten.

Victor Hugo, you’re missing the one really good comedy on that list. ;)

  13. shelly says:

That much DWTS is ridiculous, lead in or no lead in. If they’re not careful, they’ll pull a Millionaire and the audiences might get sick of this show.

  14. It’s the same amount of DWTS as last year. the first week there is more, but ABC has scheduled it that way before/ But then, Mondays 8p-10p and Tuesdays 9p-10p, just like last Spring.

  15. Susan says:

None of ABC’s new shows sounds particularly promising. But since I usually give at least the one hour dramas a chance (then drop most within a couple of weeks; I write off most sitcoms anyway), I’m willing to try, though I’m far from enthusiastic (same goes for all of NBC and CBS’s freshmen dramas).
I have read raving reviews of some of the sitcoms – Modern Family, the Middle, Hank, Cougar Town. I may try them, but I think Hank stars Kelsey Grammer, who I personally can’t stand, so I’m unsure about that one.
DWTS – a puking emoricon would have been handy here. 5 hours of THAT? that’s fine, I’ll be watching something else.

  16. Karen says:

I will watch Greys as usual but none of the others appeal. Like Julia, I would have watched Forgotten because of Rupert Penry Jones but will give it a miss now.

  17. wiesengrund says:

What about Friday? When does UGLY BETTY start?

  18. ABCFanatic says:

    Where’s Ugly Betty!!!

  19. anima52 says:

Like Karen and Julia, without Rupert P.-J. I have no interest in The Forgotten…

  20. R.G. says:

    5 hours of DWTS ?????????????????????????????????????

I noticed ABC has another show this summer called SUPER STARS…oh really???
So if they have “Stars” on DWTS…then Super Stars would be more popular…and I saw a clip of it and recogonized nobody…if they were soooooo “SUPER” why haven’t they done any “Name Dropping”…please over hyped crap from so called atheltes & B rated people on TV….another Zzzzzzzzzzzzz for sure!

  21. aleph19 says:

    where’s Eastwick?

  22. Riff Rafferty says:

    Ugly Betty – October 9
    Supernanny – October 16
Premiere date not released for Eastwick.

  23. Riff is correct. I accidentally truncated the premieres on 10/4 (America’s Funniest Home Videos), 10/9 and 10/16, but they have been added in above. And the premieres for Eastwick, Brothers & Sisters and Private practice will be announced at a later date.
