via Broadcasting & Cable:
The premiere of the MTV docu-series 16 and Pregnant, which focuses on real stories from teens dealing with pregnancy, delivered a 1.54 P12-34 rating and just over 1.6 million viewers in its Thursday 10 p.m. timeslot. That is an improvement of 180% in the 12-34 demo for its time period.

At first I thought the title of the show meant a woman had 16 kids and was pregnant again, and wasn’t sure why it was on MTV. So this is more Juno/Secret Life and less Jon + Kate.
So is this on of Daves jokes about the Palin family?
I kind of like this show. I’m happy it at least did decent.
what was in the timeslot before??
What the hell is with these shows. I’m sorry but how will this curb or bring down teen pregnancy numbers in this country or increase abstinance. I’m not trying to be catty I just would like someone to tell me.
