NPM Broadcast Prime Network Rankers for 06/22/09 through 06/28/09

is this because they are showing new shows while the other networks are in the summer repeats?
John, that’s certainly the main reason. Univision’s normal schedule of serialized telenovelas doesn’t take the summer off.
I just can’t understand why we don’t get year round programming.
Those reasons are logical, but are not the main reason, although I won’t go into it because I wouldn’t want anyone to label me a racist.
why does univision still not have an hd signal? all their prime time telenovelas are broadcasted in hd in mexico so its not like they dont have any hd programs to show.. also telemundo only had ONE hd program and they beat univision to an hd signal and telemundo doesnt come close to same amount of viewers as univision..
bush, that’s a good question. I wonder if another reader might know the answer.
Karen, forget being labeled a racist. Just as “sick” used to mean “nausea inducing” and now means “cool” to kids, “racism” used to mean “hatred or stereotyping of a race” but now means “I want you to be afraid to say your opinion because I can use nonsense to twist it into something your actual words never even suggested.”
So at risk of receiving that label, from what I hear the Hispanic demo tends to have less money. Lower socioeconomic status skews to higher broadcast tv viewership. Combine that with the high ESL population, nearly nationwide cable coverage even wherever they’re not broadcast, and new DRAMAS instead of reality shows, and a Univision triumph makes sense. Was that your thought?
Now why isn’t Telemundo doing better, all things considered?
Mañana es para siempre es una magnifica novela es de lo mejor que se ha echo en los ultimos tiempos esta buenisima
Manana is the best novela, my english speaking friends and cousins watch it all the time. American TV is missing the boat.
