During Charmed’s first and fifth seasons averaged 5 million. The rest averaged 4. Charmed was a good show, they were gonna make a spin-off to premeire when The CW launched, but The CW said no to it.

I like The WB better, they should have kept Reba although I did not watch but it had like 3 million viewers on SUNDAY, most CW shows could not even reach that. They should have used that as a lead in for launching shows. I remember before during the WB days Charmed on Sundays averaged 4 million viewers, right? Now Sunday is dead. So sad.

The CW needs to target males for once, like put the pro sports or bring back Sunday schedule. They need to do that if they want to live a decade.

Plus most teenage girls are more into watching ABC Family or ABC than the CW, those are facts. Grey’s Anatomy, American Idol, and even Family Guy gets more teenage girls viewing than any CW show combined. This should alarm them somewhat.

I hear lot of NBC late night comedians make fun of the lackluster ratings of NBC, they should include the fact that they are not the CW in one of those jokes next time.

Dawn also cares about Tuesdays with putting 90210 and Melrose Place together like it was in the 90s on FOX. I hope Melrose Place does well even though 90210 doesnt get that great of numbers.

CW strictly programs shows from (C)BS/paramount and (W)arner bros. Buffy and Angel are from 20thFox, but I think WB struck a deal with 20thFox or something because they air both shows on WB.com.

Reba was also produced by 20th, which is why it was cancelled (even with outrageously good ratings at 7:30 on a sunday, 13-episode order, and had to pay like $20m for the 31 episodes WB network ordered but was terminated cuz of the cancellation).

Reaper is produced by ABC studios. Forget Dawson’s Creek (Sony) or anything like that.

Something I don’t get is that if its core focus is on Mon-Wed, then what the hell is a sappy tween vampire show doing on a thursday. Dawn knows it doesn’t work for just any show right?

Ratings-wise ( and ONLY ratings wise,) you have to give Wipeout and Talent credit. I thought two years ago SYTYCD was a good idea as far as reality shows go, but it doesn’t seem to be gaining any ground at all. Saw Talent once for as long as it took to spew out a few curse words and change the channel – oh well, like they say: If you don’t like it, change the channel. ( To what …?)

gmyers, it does, those 5 min of Wipeout viewing are in the 9pm Japanese Game show numbers. They get removed in the final numbers.

The CW network is rely suffering in the ratings this summer. When it was still the WB, it was great in the ratings from what i remembered and never performed as bad as The CW Network is know. I think that networks needs to target more viewers than just teenage girls because that is all who is basically watching that network, Silly teenage girls. At least the WB was like a standard network that actually gave the other networks some competition most of the time.
