The series debut of Kourtney and Khloe’ Take Miami averaged 2.7 million viewers for E! in its premiere last night. probably more than last night’s 10pm airing of the season three premiere of Mad Men.
I’m not going to bash these Kardashian siblings, though it does somewhat boggle my mind. It was the best series debut for an E! original series since the 2002 premiere of The Anna Nicole Show, and its performance with its target audience, women 18-34 was tied for best of any E! series premiere with a W18-34 rating of 3.7 (those are ratings points out to 100ths, and I believe “coverage ratings” points at that, but, a record is a record).
Kourtney and Khloe’ Take Miami is the latest from Ryan Seacrest’s production company which has an exclusive first-look deal with Comcasts’ networks.

So many idiots with free time. Who in their normal mind would watch two siblings nobodies only famous because their sister had a porn tape and dated famous people?
Drama is drama. Funny is funny. Obviously whatever purpose this show has- it’s serving it. It boggles my mind how people bash reality stars but praise actors. What the hell difference does it make if the content is written or not? Entertaining people is the real goal. So what HOW we know them. We know them now. And on that point, everyone was unknown at some point in their lives/careers.
I didn’t watch the show because I find the Kardashian sisters banal. For people who want to watch a show that’s “light” entertainment, good for the K sisters! Whatever floats your boat!
Gotta admit, that Khloe is one BIG babe! But I’m not motivated to watch anything this silly.
I missed the show! Dang it! I’m sure E will reair it.
Holy crap. I love me some trashy reality shows as much as the next person, but the best series debut on E! since 2002? Proof that Ryan Seacrest is indeed taking over the world.
