Anderson is really low now.
Glenn Beck is on a Tare….he is Bill Oreilly’s replacement or Hannity’s replacement in the near future….
Imagine if Beck was on Primetime?????
I bet he would even beat my good man Oreilly by a million….
Speaking of numbers. The census bureau said they will not use ACORN for the 2010 census. MAN!!! GLENN BECK is just chewing them up and spiting them out. DAMN!!! Who is next???? We have a list. It’s top secret you leftist can’t see it. LOL! MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same Ask ACORN.
FOX is the news to watch. I am in constant amazement every time I look at their numbers. And now we have added Stossel to the mix on FNC and FBN as well as Imus to FBN and you have the beginnings of a dynasty.
If the trend continues, Beck will end O’Reilly’s #1 streak from a rather unassuming time slot. Hannity and Van Susteren might be sweating bullets if the Fox execs start to put Beck in prime time and bump one of them down to 5pm.
If people are not watching Glenn Beck, they have their heads buried in the sand (actually another place). He is opening the eyes of his viewers — exposing the brutal truth that the mainstream media is not telling because they are in bed with the Obamanists. As word spreads, more and more people will be watching, because their future — and the future of the country — will depend upon it.
Glenn Beck is doing a public service. Keep it up. He’ll do well in any time slot. Congressional hearings are a joke compared to Fox’s digging and telling the real story. Keep it up, Fox, in all time slots.
Glenn Beck is doing great! I’m sure the ACORN story yesterday gave him some boost too.
and the fixed news koolaid is alive and well
Good job Beck, FOX NEWS was the 3rd most watched channel in all of cable last week only trailing ESPN and USA, FOX kicks @ss!!!!!!!
Olby is on the way out by the way, you heard it here first. My prediction is that he doesn’t last past October.
Can you please post the other shows ratings like Neil Cavutos time slot and Megyn Kelley and Bill Hemmer’s? I think they do very well also but would like to see the numbers in this regular report. PLEASE.
How many of you Fox views Black, Hispanic, Asian or Gay?….Let me guess, NONE!….The GOP is nothing but a grumpy white man club. With the surge of Hispanics, Black, Asians Gays and young White college age people, the Dems are getting Bigger and BIGGER.
Well hannity will never be at 5 because his more lucrative radio show doesn’t even end until then. I could see Greta moved to 11 and hannity moved to 10. I like Greta and Sean a little bt beck MUST be moved to primetime.
GO BECK!
Yup….as more of you old white guys die off, your grand old party will get smaller and smaller. You old farts are so out of touch with America. Dems/Libs will just get larger and larger.
Len, I think you should apologize for that blatent slander, you should now better. They are plenty of rabid right wingers of color, which is a good thing btw.
In comparing last year’s numbers to his years,we find
Hannity & Colmes—3,065,000 viewers (928,000) (1,497,000)
September 10, 2009
Hannity –2,986,000 viewers (831,000) (1,322,000)
That is a drop of almost 80,000 viewers overall, and a drop of 97,000 in the 24-54 demo, which is about 15%.
O’Reilly did not have a show on Thursday September 11, 2008, so no year to year comparison is possible for this date.
This makes three days this week. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday that Hannity’s ratings have dropped from their year ago equivalent. Wednesdays ratings were skewed by President’s Obama’s address. For example on Wednesday September 10 , 2008, Countdown with Keith Olbermann had 1,670,000, while on Wednesday September 9, 2009, it shot up to 2,304,000 viewers due to the President’s address, an increase of over 40%. Hannity’s ratings also increased due to the President’s address from 3,163,000 viewers to 3,499,000 viewers, an increase of 10%
If we compare primetime numbers for Fox on the two dates, it shows:
Thursday, September 11, 2008
FNC – 3,111,000 viewers, 18-54(858,000 viewers)
Thursday, September 10, 2008
FNC – 3,042,000 viewers, 18-54 (813,000 viewers)
So Fox dropped 69,000 viewers in primetime from last years and in the 18-54 category,it dropped 45,000, about 5%. Sir Rupert Murdoch, who owns Fox News through his News Corp., which lost 3.8 billion dollars last year, cannot be happy over these ratings numbers.
Isn’t it funny watching these leftist coming unhindged. You guys fell down on the job so get out of the way your not needed anymore. WE THE PEOPLE are The New Mainstream Media. SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!!! We have cameras everywhere. We are taping all of you nutjobs. And we have more tapes to be released very soon. DRIP DRIP DRIP. POOR LITTLE PEOPLE LOL!!! We also have tapes of The Great Messiah!!! Get ready. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same. Ask the pimps and slave owners at ACORN.
Philosopher, ratings for last year really aren’t comparable because of the run-up to the election.
What a bunch of unhinged people on these threads.
CNN really seems to be hurting these last few months – they’ve been usurped by MSNBC for second in every single timeslot. MSNBC should launch a 10pm show.
Len,,,,are you aware of the fact that your childish comments make us old farts laugh our heads off at you.Never forget little one,WE hold the purse strings.
you liberals are fading, cant wait till next election to take back my country, keep watching fox…
VIVA FOX!!!
Beck is sapping up the audience for crazies. Appears to be a lot of them
Dan, what you see is what we get. We post every ratings number we can.
I have tried to watch MSNBC to get the other side, but they call me a racist a few seconds into the broadcast, so I change the channel back to Fox. Looking at the numbers it must be lonely on MSNBC
Frankly the numbers for Beck are frightening. The level of stupidity in this country is beyond words
Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, Acorn,Charlie Rangle, Howard Drake, National Endowment of the Arts, and many more. If it weren’t for Fox covering these stories you wouldn’t know. That is why Fox is winning the ratings war.
Btw–keep waiting for Philosopher to compare MSNBC’s ratings from last year.
3.3 million at 5 pm. Unbelievable– go Glenn.
Go Beck. Buck Ofama.
Man it’s fun watching Glenn drive these leftist crazy. I wonder what they will do when the tapes of the Great Messiah Obama come out? STAY TUNED!!! LOL!!! He is top of our list. And we do have a list. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same.
If you want ALL the news ALL thetime, and the TRUTH, you have no choice gut to watch FOX. If you like amusement as I do occasionally, BSNBC is the fodder. I like Mr. Ed, as long as he faces the camera, but I wish he would put Wilbuuurrrr back on once in a while. Über Mann is funny but with the new PC and all, you’re not supposed to laugh at half-wits. I am somewhat disappointed with Maddow though. I assumed she’d have Ellen and Posie on most of the time. Hardbull is really good for a laugh. CNN is tolerable sometimes.
Good for Glenn Beck. He’s taking out the trash, one corrupt idiot at a time.
MSNBC is a complete joke. The sad part is that they still don’t get the joke – it’s on them!
I could see Beck getting a better time slot and he does deserve it. Hannity isn’t too bright or articulate. He’s just right wing gung-ho. I like Dennis Miller, too. That guy is way funny, but not sure he could carry an entire hour on Fox.
Pitting Beck against Maddow in that time slot would be inhumane to Rachel. She isn’t even much competition to Hannity and barely ekes out Karry King.
Watch Glenn once and you are compelled to watch again and again and again. Just imagine if he were moved to prime time… I love the idea of putting him on 8, moving O’Reilly to 9, Hannity to 10 and Gretta to 11. Wonder how Glenn does at 2:00am?? Go Fox, and go Glenn, Bill, Sean and Gretta — people need to know!!!
How can I find out how many daily viwers NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN,and Fox News have during the nightly prime time newscast?
I’m trying to compare how many people are getting their news from each of the major networks vs. cable.
Right-wingers still haven’t figured out that winning a cable ratings race is about a million miles away from winning a presidential election.
As flawed as the Democrats are, they are clearly the “least bad” option and will continue to be so as long as the right-wing kooks of the Republican party rule the asylum.
Mitt Romney would have won and you guys know it.
Reggie, so far as I know you can’t get daily info for the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) nightly newscast (they are NOT in primetime). You can, however, get weekly averages. We stopped reporting those, but the numbers for the week of August 31-September 6 were:
Total Viewers: NBC: 7,620,000 / ABC: 7,150,000 / CBS: 5,440,000
A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2,150,000 / ABC: 1,970,000 / CBS: 1,470,000
Philosopher Jay is a duesh, you can’t compare this year to last b/c of the run up to the election, nice try though, you must have went to the Olby acadamy of mis-information.
Reading what Len wrote makes me understand more fully just why I continue to watch FOX – MSNBC has Chris Matthews who still continues to get those tingly feelings down his legs when he mentions Obama’s name; Rachel Maddow continues to TRY to be a stand up comic with her little snide quips (no real substance); I have to admit that Keith Olbermann is kind of entertaining with his rabid-like expression when he gets mad (he tries to look macho, but he just ends up looking funny); At least on FOX we get FACTS and not excuses – An example of this is how the left explained the guilty ACORN workers as the “alleged” (I guess you would have to actually be IN the room to be convinced they were GUILTY!!!) Thank God we still (for a little while, yet) live in a country where we can decide who we want to listen to and make up our OWN minds as to who we want to believe. I will still continue to choose my own friends (and you are not one, Len), my own news channels, my own food, my own car, my own health care, my own community services and charities, my own light bulbs, and my own religion. I can also choose to either respect or not respect the president – I choose NOT!!!!
Ever notice the morbid hatred dripping from A–olbermann’s fangs whenever he says Buschhhhhhh!
Every time I visist the US I am shocked about what you call tv news reporting.
Obviously I cannot judge Glen Beck on the issues and topics he is reporting, but the way he is delivering news and opinions is truely frightening. Is Glen Beck the real world equivelent of Howard Beale(Network 1976)?
News should be there to provide you with information, on wich you should built your own opinion. These days is seems like your opinion is made for you, the thinking process stops as soon as you chose wich tv news you are going to watch.
And one thing I will never understand about all this is.
If public healthcare, or “medicare for all”, is the beginning of the united states of kommunism.
What do you think would be if the goverment started paying for public roads, public transport, the military, national parks, the police, fire departments, public schools…
Hey FRED we don’t care what you think go away!!! Damn Illegal aliens. Where FRED comes from they kill the reporters if they disagree with the government. Ask the Mexicans and all the other countries in south America. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same ask GLENN BECK HEE HEE!!! JOE WILSON for President!!!!
I immensely enjoyed BSMBC’s (non) coverage of the march on D.C. which drew a huge crowd, so much that I watched a lot of it on Good ‘ol reliable Fox News. Had it been the Sarandon,Robbins,Garafalo, Moore and Sheen, etc. crowd, along with the usual loonie subversive rent-a-mob, the BS channel probably wouldn’t have taken a commercial break.
GP36 I watched it on thebcast Brietbart TV. We don’t need the old media anymore. IT IS OVER!!!! We are the new mainstream media. I was talking with people from all over the country real time. Look at Drudge he gets 8 billion hits a year. BILLION!!!!! We don’t need them anymore so go away you old tired dinosaurs. What’s funny is I don’t think they even get it. LOL!!!! MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same Ask ACORN
Woe is me! Alas and alack! I’m way behind the times shane2813! All I know is Obama can’t take a s— without a gaggle of NBC/BSNBC reporters around to help and report on it!
I love these FOX CIRCLE JERKS.
Yes, standing alone they are great numbers.
But this is the ONLY source for CONSERVATIVE
views on tv.
Everything else is either “Biased” by your admission
or a balanced source say like PBS.
Funny if you added up all of PBS, NBC, CBS, ABC
and the so-called liberal sources at newstime,
fox would be a mere SLIVER of the pie.
ENJOY!
Ah yes1 Forgot abou Pure Blatant SH–!
about
Gp36 the mainstream media is us now. The old leftist have given up on the truth. “We report you decide”. You leftist starting to get it??? Little kids take out ACORN LOL!!!! This is so fun!!!! Remember The Great Messiah worked for ACORN. OOOOH MY!!! DRIP DRIP DRIP!!! The worm keeps turning. More tapes very soon. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same. You will see in living color.
They must keep beck at 5 because he helps the two investigativ shows tremoundously
Philosopher Jay, not only should you not compare two single days a year apart to determine trends, you should especially not do it on a day normal programming did not occur because of an Obama/McCain forum aired on FNC.
robert do you know the numbers for fnc’s red eye w/greg gutfeld?
if you do can you post them thanks
blackconservative, the most viewed episode of red eye the week of 8/31-9/6 was Wednesday (3am) with 436,000 P2+ average viewers. We don’t get any age demo information for cable news shows except the ones on this list above.
shaneY=idiot. @tarheel-pck Olbermann is showing better numbers every year, he’s not on his way out, he’s on his way up. shaneY none of us are leaving, in fact idiots like you should leave. shaneY=idiot.
Bill Gorman, you are doing a great job with this site. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it!
One more thing, FNC is doing very well as far as viewers go, but if Beck can’t get any advertisers back (he’s lost 67 so far) they’re going to be in real trouble. Simply put, you can have 3,000,000+ viewers, but if you can’t sell ads to them, your not making money.
MSNBC BEATS CNN IN PRIMETIME IN AUGUST AMONG VIEWERS 25-54MSNBC #1 News Network Among Younger Viewers, 18-34, in Primetime“Countdown with Keith Olbermann,” “The Rachel Maddow Show,” “Hardball with Chris Matthews” Beat CNN in DemoNEW YORK – Sept. 1, 2009 – MSNBC beat CNN in primetime last month in the key Adults 25-54 demographic, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. MSNBC was also the #1 ranked news network among younger viewers, 18-34, in August. MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann,” “The Rachel Maddow Show” and “Hardball with Chris Matthews” all out-rated CNN among A25-54 in August. Following are MSNBC ratings highlights for August:· MSNBC out-rated CNN in August in A25-54 in primetime (M-Su, 8-11 p.m.) by 11 percent (276,000 vs. 248,000). MSNBC was also the #1 news network among younger viewers, Adults 18-34, in primetime, outdelivering CNN by 61 percent and FNC by 4 percent.
shaneY=idiot=terrorist. Idiots are all the same ask shaneY.
I’m waiting to see how many houses that ACORN gave out are used by drug dealers. Does anyone know the code for drug dealer? LOL! I think maybe we know how drug dealers get houses in some neighborhoods. I thought the Leftist Democrats cared about black people? Maybe the Leftist Democrats need certain people to be poor and live in very dangerous neighborhoods. Who is behind all these gangs in these areas of the country. For some odd reason the gangs are in Democrat controlled neighborhoods??? LET THE DIGGING BEGIN!!! Stay tuned. Many more tapes to come. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same. Ask the drug dealers in D.C.. HEE HEE!
Moving Beck to prime time may be like the old sayings about “to much of a good thing”. I wonder how much Beck at 5pm helps Bret Baier and Shepphard Smith at 6pm and 7pm. Both of those shows seem to have pretty consistent ratings, so maybe it wouldn’t hurt them too much. But then what would Fox do at 5pm, and then where does Beck go? I wouldn’t move O’Reilly. Hannity and Van Sustren both do well and destroy the competition in ratings. It would be interesting to see what Beck could do at 9pm. If I had to choose I would move Hannity. I can do without him and his show. I tend to watch more of Greta than Hannity and think she has a better show.
watching libs get excited about msnbc beating cnn is funny…
typical democrat applauding mediocrity..
Will, MSNBC beating CNN is like one Parks and Rec softball team beating another. In the meantime the major leagues (Fox) could care less.
Advertisers, old and new are already coming back to Glenn. Too many people watching to not make best use of their advertising dollars. Glenn ain’t going away.
The whole sponsors leaving Glenn Beck is a complete contradiction. They left Glenn Beck because he said something about Obama being a racist. Yet Companies didn’t start pulling their adds till a racist group started creating a fuss. Isn’t that ironic?
I also find it funny that one of the group’s founders can do all kinds of damage to his race and political partners, yet the group seems to think thats ok or even the way things are or should be?
You tell me who is the racist side in the “Color of Change vs. Glenn Beck” battle.
I am hispanic 22 my father is 63 my sisters are well in their 30’s and we came to the United states in 87 from Nicaragua And my family and I watch Fox news
Somebody called PBS “balanced.” Now THAT is funny!
As for the 18-34 demo and MSNBC – there are only a handful of people that age who even watch cable news! Not relevant, even for advertisers unless they get a bargain-basement rate.
I am perplexed after reading all the comments at the indifference from the dems/libs on what this is all about. America as we know it is being transformed into a fascist/Marxist government where the “Ruling Elite” will have the saying in all aspects of everyone’s life. I know some of you might say is far fetched to think that way, but just for you own sake find out the truth by yourselves. This is not a war between news channels, after all they all benefit from the viewers, that’s whay they are in the business for. What the libs fail to understand is that they too will be part of the laymen. If you love tyranny so much, why don’t you try moving to Cuba or China and tell us how wonderful is to live in a totalitarian regime where everything is rationed? This is something that America does not know and Hell will freeze over before we let this land of the FREE go down in flames because of the lunatic beliefs of the far left. Let FREEDOM ring FOREVER!
Yes, because Bush wasn’t a tyrant and wanted us all to just get along. shaneY=idiot=terrorist All the same ask shaneY.
MSNBC was also the #1 news network among younger viewers, Adults 18-34, in primetime, outdelivering CNN by 61 percent and FNC by 4 percent. Proof that young people watch more MSNBC than FNC.
@VirtualBoi
Almost every westen nation, almost everyone in europe, has public healthcare. And even with these crazy leftist idea of public healthcare for everyone these are still considered democracys, crazy I know.
You know, I was a broadcast major in school, and hope to be again once I finish with the military. I find it discusting the levels people like Olberman will sink to to try to get ratings from one side of the aisle. I watch all three major news networks, read, as often as I can, the Wall St Journal and the New York Times. I try to be as varried as possible in my viewing. I see much more evidence of a bias from MSNBC and CNN than Fox. Yes, FOX can be bias from time to time, but at least they try to back it up with facts. Olberman just calles everyone who disagrees a liar and a racist. He’s constantly incisted that Beck spreads the false reports of the FEMA camps, though Beck used an entire segment of his Fox News show to DISPROVE them with an editor of Popular Mechanics.
Granted, I feel that Beck calling Obama a racist was out of bounds, but multiple people (including Don Lemon, CNN; Rachel Maddow, MSNBC; and multiple celebrities given soundbites and mmicrophones to spread propoganda ) have called Tea Party folks racists, and there’s no outrage, except at Fox. When did it become more respectable to attack a group of people versus a polotician?
http://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin# go sign up and be a supporter today, Because she is going to be the next President of the United States of America…Then everyones ratings will go sky high. They will have something good to talk about.. Sarah Palin The American Sweet Heart….loved by hundreds of millions ooooooo yesssss!!!!!
http://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin# go sign up and be a supporter
Hey look another ACORN tape. LOL!!! This just goes to show you if your not brainwashed by one of the higher education institutions you can report the TRUTH. Has the New York Times said the word ACORN yet? Did you see the people at the rally in D.C. run the ACORN nutjobs out of the area of the rally? Even the police helped run them off. It was GREAT!!! DRIP DRIP DRIP The worm keeps turning. Isn’t free speech great? We don’t have to run info thru the leftist prism anymore. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same ask Serena Williams LOL!!! Future ACORN worker.
@Will what are you talking about. Fox NEws beats MSNBC in the Demos by 50% percent and Fox NEws beats MSNBC and CNN in the Key Demo every night. What Statistic are you look at.
Thank you FNC for keeping our public officials accountable, right and left.
Freedom of speech also means allowing others to speak freely. There are those here on both sides of the issue who would like to suppress all who disagree with their viewpoint. I for one do not take glee in the fact that ANY group was “run off” from this weekend’s events.
“Your freedom to swing your fist ends at my nose.”
“Cherry picking: the act of pointing at individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position, while ignoring a significant portion of related cases or data that may contradict that position.”

Anyone here guilty of this?
I haven’t noticed any from my side lol
Len, My family gets all our news from FoxNews and guess what?….. We’re Puerto Rican. Maybe you need triple check your research.
I am Black, 48, a man whose gut gets twisted up in knots every time Obama speaks. I am a part of the proud(6%)of Black Americans who did NOT vote for this man. Imnot in love with the republican party, BUT I DESPISE THE DEMOCRATS!… There is a whole agenda of people willing to ruin this great country just so “the first African-American president(LOOKS)successful.” I hate that! When he held—(another)— rally this past Saturday at the same time honest American citizens were protesting in Washington, I know he did it just so CNN and MSNBC would train their liberal cameras on him— and ignore the people— AND IT MADE ME SICK! Obama is the worst thing for America because there are now so many people out there who think dissent is wrong, and everyone against the man is racist… Well, i’m Black… and I love my country( and my FREEDOM ) a lot more than I care for him and his ilk! I even went to the library to reread 1984 again… the smooth, glib, too-cool-for-real-news president MUST be stopped!
Where do these ratings come from?
The Nielsen Company.
@Bobby Whitman: It continues to amaze me how people who have a history of enslavement fail to recognize it in its modern form. Your recognition of this fact is encouraging. How many do not see that entitlement programs represent only another means of gaining power over people. Those who vote for a populist leader do a great disservice to themselves. Lots of black Americans were getting a “free ride” 150 years ago. I think one of the worst things I would ever want to hear was “Yeah, but they treated us real good.” Nowadays you don’t have to pick cotton all day to get your entitlement and “get treated real good”. All it takes is a vote. But what else is being given up? Look at the ladies who used to work for ACORN. What did they give up?
Look at who in the media is actually fighting against this form of slavery as we speak. And look at who leads in the ratings.
Thanks to Fox News who gave Beck a show that allows him to present truth and gives us the news that others are too afraid to reveal. Lots of my friends and family are now watching Beck. The Factor has turned into a tabloid variety hodgepodge of little value. Could Beck be moved into that time slot so more could see his show? The main stream media give us nothing worth watching or reading. We the people need to stay informed. Fox keep it up.
You know what? I’d like to just FIRE everyone in Washington and start all over with a brand new election.
Let’s get rid of the whole lot of corrupt people and start working for the american people instead of lobbyists.
Oh, and lobbyists should be arrested on sight!!! I could care less how much money they have. It’s killing everything good about what the United States of America is all about.
Good old Glenn Beck here, guess he changed his views when he went to Fox News..lol

Republicans need to get back to debating issues instead of using the scare tactics. More people are aware of the scare games and the Bush Administration over played their hand with this in the last 8 years. It’s not working, well maybe the right wing base is getting motivated but that’s it. Until you guys start explaining your positions better and stop playing the scare bullcrap, it’s not going to change.
Go Beck!
I’ve tried watching MSNBC but it’s unwatchable. They have their heads so far up the rear of the Democrat/bigger goverment/nanny state ideology.
