It looks like Susan Boyle could be the lead-in for the series premiere of The Jay Leno Show on Monday night:
The Scottish sensation of “Britain’s Got Talent” will make her U.S. TV debut on the season finale of “America’s Got Talent,” according to a person close to the series. The person, who lacked authority to release the information, spoke Friday on condition of anonymity.
The final performance show will be Monday from 8p-10p, with the results show on Wednesday night from 8p-10pm.

She is a talented singer. Her CD presales outsold Whitney Houston on Amazon. Should this “leak” prove to be true, it will attract viewers and be a boon for Jay Leno and NBC–at least for that episode.

Have to agree with Kevin on this one. I’m surprised people still care who she is; plus, it’s not like that’s the only way anyone can see her perform (there are video clips of her singing and such all over the internet).
Susan Boyle will bring millions of viewers to Jay Leno’s opening show! We have just had the privilege of hearing one of the songs that is on her debut album and it is absolutely breathtaking! Her upcoming CD has outsold the Beatles and Whitney Houston and is not even due for release until Nov. 24th! In addition, she appears in a gorgeous spread in Harper’s Bazaar this month. The commenters above obviously do not know what they’re talking about. Susan is destined to be the biggest star we have seen in decades – wait for it! She is magnificent.

If they just let her be herself, they’ll discover her witty, clever, genuine self. Meredith Viera and the staff at Harper’s were taken aback by her gregarious nature. Susan interacts with the audience so well..she’s so authentic…Hollywood won’t know how to handle her.

Susan flew into LA this afternoon to perform as a guest on Wed.night’s AGT Finals. Susan is definietly the woman of the hour. If Jay wants her for his show, he better get in line fast! She’ll only be here for a week on this trip. Susan has quite a sense of humor and she and Leno would be hilarious together. Good luck, Jay!

Oh, you naysayers, where have you been? Susan Boyle has had a gorgeous spread in Harper’s. Her tour with BGT got fantastic reviews and built her fanbase. Her new CD is coming out and boy, are you all in for a surprise when you hear her cover of a Stones song. Brace yourselves, Kiddies, Susan Boyle is a fun, intelligent, talented person and she’s just getting started with her career. Fasten your seat belts!
What a day this has been. Susan Boyle arriving in the US. Hearing one of the songs on her new CD, “Wild Horses” which just about blew me away, and now talk she will be on the Jay Leno Show. It doesn’t get any better than this. Welcome to the US, Susan. We love you.

It says “season finale,” which would be the two-hour results show, and besides, it would only make sense to have her on the results show (which always has a guest performer or two on it) rather than on the performance show which is full with ten acts as it is. But yeah absolutely no surprise if this is true.
But with the final Talent performance show, the Biggest Loser premiere, the Talent season finale, and the Office/Community premieres as lead-ins for the first four episodes of the Leno show, it should be well served in its first week.
I’m annoyed that I can’t get to see Jay as a UK viewer. I’m gutted!!
