For the week of September 7, “World News” averaged 7.24 million Total Viewers and a 1.6/7 in Adults 25-54, outperforming second place “Nightly News” by 90,000 Total Viewers.
The week marked “World News’” best Total Viewer delivery in four months (May 2009) and its fifth consecutive week of total viewer growth. Please note: for the week of September 7, “World News” is based on a three-day average: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. “Nightly News” is also based on a three-day average: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. “Evening News” is based on a four-day average: Tuesday-Friday. “World News” displayed the most weekly growth among Total Viewers (90,000) and Adults 25-54 (70,000) of any of the three evening newscasts. “Nightly News” fell to its lowest Total Viewer and demo deliveries in over two years (week of 7/2/07). ABC widened its demo lead over “Evening News” to the largest margin since March 2009 and its largest total viewing lead since November 2008. I am very disappointed in Charlie Gibson. I thought he was a reputable news person but was I wrong. I will never watch his show or any program he is on. To me he is a TV entertainer not a news worthy person ..thank you

She probably feels that way because Charlie had never heard of The ACORN Scandal on WLS radio earlier this week when asked by their morning staff,so he is either clueless or fibbing,I think he is inept!

I find all 3 anchors disgusting. They no longer report the facts – it is all twisted facts to favor Obama and the left. It is finally becoming clear why NBC is in bed with Obama – GE meeting with the Russians. OMG – democracy is doomed with this type of back room deals being cut. So, what deals are in the works for CBS and ABC?
I find them all unamerican – they should report for the good of America – not one political group or corporations.

Who please tell me still watches the Networks evening news. By the time they come on the cable news outlets have covered everything and in better fashion. Uncle Walter’s network is so sad with Couric!! What a waste of skin. Why would Diane want to jump into this dying cesspool. Stick a fork in them–they are done.
