Now if only they could fix the stupid story line. I can’t stand Nicole.

  2. Jasmine says:

Is Crystal Chappell back? That could explain. She almost made me want to tune in again.

  3. david says:

The addition of both Crystal Chappell and Lindsay Hartley have greatly increased Days Ratings. Both actresses have a strong fan-base that will follow them from soap to soap.

  4. Paul says:

It all because of EJ he was on everyday last week JS is carrying this show he is a fanastic actor he is a ratings winner i love his acting especially when he is angry its so real.

  5. Rob says:

    Mmmmmmm…..Crystal Chappell!

  6. Red says:

I think it’s because people want to see this baby reveal that is the slowest moving storyline EVER. And last week that story finally shifted back to the people its actually belongs with, Ej and Sami. Not Nicole and Rafe.
Also, the show has become more balanced with the addition of Crystal we see more Bope and Justin. I haven’t had to fast forward through anything in the last two weeks.

unfortunately, rafe will eventually speak soon, so FF will be in my future again.

Definitely some truth in the preceeding posts.Nicole? We’re not SUPPOSED to like her… I never liked Crystal Chappell much, but when she came on at the end of last week’s show with the knife to Lawrence, her eyes said it all. My husband who only casually casts an eye to the Days’ screen from time to time immediately said,” Who’s that? Whoever she is, she must be one heck of an acress with that expression on her face”. He’s been watching more closely everyday since. He’s also noticed the great acting by James Scott, although he thinks his character must be a real dope to not have figured Nicole out by now…( yea, we know, but we love EJ and Days anyway). Other smaller things that have helped ratings is a closer storyline between Sami and her dad, Roman. Ever since Josh Taylor shot the scene in the hospital with Sweeney the day baby Grace died, he’s been the dad every young woman wished she had. This guy needs more screen time. Molly Burnett has also become a favorite who makes all her scenes special. Let’s hope Days keeps the momentum going, and doesn’t shut down the quality when sweeps are over.

I’m originally a Guiding Light viewer who has turned on Days of Our Lives, I used to watch Days several years ago (possessed Marlena, John on death row etc.) I really like Allison Sweeney and remember her from back then (the Carrie-Sami-Austin triangle). I tuned in because of Crystal Chappell, I remember when I first saw her on Days as Carly Manning so it’s a nice flashback for me. I sure do miss some of the older cast members but it’s nice to see them use the ones they have left. Loving Evil Victor and Nasty Kate! Anyone know how “Let’s Make a Deal” is doing ratings wise in Guiding Lights timeslot?
