To the lunatic fringe who suggested we were “hiding these numbers to protect Conan,” they were merely delayed a day due to the Columbus Day holiday. Look for an NBC press release celebrating the adults 18-34 victory for Conan coming soon.

Robert you are my hero.
I’m waiting for you to ban me like they do on Pokerstars.
your wait will not likely be long
I hate to say it but I just don’t think Conan works at 11:30. And it’s not only because of the Letterman “scandal.” Conan wasn’t doing very well even before that. Time will tell, I guess.
I agree Chuck, Letterman was beating Conan handily even before the blackmail incident.
The big news is now the LLS is starting to attract the 18-49 demo away from Fallon. I guess in the slight panic the suits at NBC may be feeling over everything else (not just Conan and Jay but the crappiest crapfest of a primetime lineup possibly ever), Fallon may continue to be safe for a little while, but not much longer if Craig keeps pulling Fallon’s main demo away from him.
Well, well. As I mentioned a while back, Dave is trouncing Conan in total and now the all important demos much like Jay started to do to Dave way back in 1995. It starts with TOTAL, then moves in to DEMOS. Coco will have to figure out what to do in order to find his new identity. Last place does not really matter when there are over 500 channels, DVD’s, the Internet, etc. Coco is holding his own.
Coco’s holding his own? So THAT’s the problem. Maybe he should let go of it and work on improving his show.
Job one? Learn how to tell a joke.
at least conan tells original jokes that are written daily….unlike dave who will keep recycling jokes days and weeks at a time.
let me guess what could possibly be given on a random late show:
picture of Dick Cheney that was taken down in the white house where his eyes follow you (along with the music theyve played 50 times)
a joke about where is sarah palin when you need her in reference to the skunk problem in NYC
picture of the statue of liberty holding something different or with a different hat
more bernie madoff jokes…..at least he finally was back in the news the past week……unlike the past 6 months where letterman continued with madoff jokes when nothing new had developed
a joke about a squirrel and his nuts
and nonsensical yankees joke about kate hudson
possilby a fire dave rally joke even though thats 4 months old
i used to have more but it appears dave has finally stopped with the ruth madoff jokes about saving money by switching to geico or keeping her tires inflated
Gee, Hector, relax. I wasn’t even thinking about Letterman. Have you seen the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson? Now there’s a man who can perform. Conan’s just a writer who was thrust into the spotlight. After 16 years, Conan still can’t deliver a monologue, topical jokes or not.
Here’s a joke for you. How many people want to watch a tense, odd-looking, non-performer at bedtime? Two million fewer than wanted to watch a jovial banana-face.
Yeah, it’s a bad joke but a true comedian could sell it. The public ain’t buying what Conan ain’t sellin’.
The Tonight Show set is the best thing about the show. Jay Leno should have had those people build his set, too–it hurts my eyes when I try to watch The Jay Leno Show. His set is awful! I cannot believe they said yes to whoever designed it. Wow. But after I look at The Tonight Show set for a minute or two, I have to turn to CBS because Dave’s show is so much more appealing. Plus, I look so forward to seeing my new hero, Craig Ferguson. He was an acquired taste, but I can’t miss his monologue and his ceremonial tearing up of the question cards.
