I’ve seen a lot of comments wondering what the numbers for Glenn Beck are for the rebroadcasts later in the night. We don’t post them daily because we don’t get them. We do wind up seeing the numbers in the weekly ranking, though only the average viewer numbers without any of the adults 25-54 or 35-64 detail.
Here are all Glenn Beck average audience (viewers 2+) for all airings the week ending October 18, 2009:

Question regarding statistics: A “viewer” is defined as a household, right? For example, a family of 5 watching Glenn Beck on one TV — then this is count of “one viewer” in the statistics reporting here, right???
CaliforniaGuy — these were average viewer numbers, not average household numbers. If 5 people in a Nielsen home were watching, and watched for the whole show they’d count as 5 viewers. Remember, these are AVERAGE audience numbers, not total reach, so if one person watched only half the show, they would count as .5 of a viewer.
CaliforniaGuy, a household means any number of people from a single household, a viewer is an individual 2 years old or older.
Your example would count as 5 average viewers (assuming they were 2+ yrs old) were they to have watched the entire 60 minutes of a 60 minute show.
Since the 2AM episodes get about 0.5 million viewers, I’m wondering how “Red Eye” does right after it weekdays at 3AM ET?
How about Fox News’ “red eye?” They recently indicated they were getting more 18-49 viewers at 3:00 am weedays than CNN in primetime.
Looks like Beck drops bit by bit each airing hmmmmmmm.
The numbers are from high to low. Thursday had the highest numbers.
& he gets all that beer $$ too.

In Sept ‘09, Red Eye (#31) was the only FNC program not in the top 13 Cable News programs (by total viewers). It averaged more 25-54 viewers than, say, Hardball, Ed Show or Situation Room. Some suggest it has benefited from Glenn Beck rebroadcasting at 2am.

I was an Obama Voter during the last election and wished there was a way to take it back. When the Charges were levied on Obama being a radical, I brushed it away. I took Obama at his word that he was who he said he was and did NOT vote for the stuff he is offering. I wanted an honest Government with the President to be open during the process of legislation creation (CSPAN), restrained executive power, tax cuts to people under 250k per year and I didnt even know till recently that Obama wanted to put coal out of business. I watched some news, not much but read the paper and watched some CNN and NBC. I started watching Fox News when the Tea Parties started getting reported on to see what all the fuss is about and Beck seemed like a lunatic until I watched about two weeks of him and now I am totally engaged with this stuff. Started reading books on economics, 5000 year leap (was recommended by a friend) now I read his books and now I am HOOKED on Fox News and now wish I could take back my Vote.
Tomorrow, I am going to find a station that carries rush Limbaugh to see what all that fuss is about.

But if your still not convinced, maybe you could take a page out of adam smith’s(father of modern economics, and free markets) book, “the wealth of nations”, where he says in chapter 10(of wages and profit in the different employments of labour and stock), that the knowledge of that stupid farmer is greater than that of the graduate. You know that Glenn likes Thomas Paine, in fact he thnks of himself as a moderne day version of Paine. It’s funny that Paine was for redistribution of wealth and against levles of organized religion. Years ago many peole called medicare socialim or nationalism and look where we are today with it.

With Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, all 3 of these programs are broke or soon to be broke, so I would say financially as a country, we are not really better off today than we were before these programs were initiated
We’ve doen well with them for years. It wasn’t until the last fincial debacle that has been inherited by the current government that the problems came. Keep in mind that republicans in the senate are in favor of these programs, Michael Steele has even been defending medicare. FNC is hoping for these initiatives fail for the sake of there ratings.
I used to vote Democrat, but after what i have seen in this Obama’s white house for the 1st time i have seen the light about liberal democrats. I would take George Bush back in a second. I feel like the country doesn’t have a president with this president.
I pray everyday over Glenn, and the other fine people of FNC. We need at least one network that offers us the truth and the right to make our own decisions on important issues. I laugh when the left wing nuts including Obama that FNC is just an entertainment network. Hey, sometimes the truth hurts Obama.

Like Bob Beckle said last night, he gets more viewers on Fox News in one night then CNN and MSPMS can get in a month.
The bottom 3 showings are the only time any of his competitors pass him in single show viewings…oh and did i mention those are their NORMAL show times not 11PM PST re-runs…so sad, so sad
