It was a surprise to Robert and I when a press release we posted last season about Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta got so much traffic, and we became well acquainted with the fact that NeNe [Leakes] was “da’ bomb”.
With her, “Atlanta” has become the highest rated of all the “Housewives” franchises, but the LA Times wonders whether the it’s shark jumping time for the show.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” is averaging 3.2 million viewers per episode, and Bravo says it will become the network’s highest-rated edition in the “Housewives” franchise after tonight, outpacing the ladies of Orange County, New York and New Jersey. A fifth series set in Washington, D.C., is also in the works.
But can there be too much of a good thing? “The Hills” saw its ratings decline after too much Lauren Conrad-Heidi Montag quarreling. It’s probably too soon to tell, but the summer release of Leakes’ memoir, “Never Make the Same Mistake Twice: Lessons on Love and Life Learned the Hard Way,” isn’t on any bestseller lists yet.
How far behind “Atlanta” is “New York”? I always had the sense that “New York” was the most popular.
The Atlanta franchise is a good, guilty pleasure show. The broads from New Jersey are also good TV!
i’ve found myself caring less and less about this show. honestly i just had to take a break. the same thing happens every week. Sharie is a…..no wait i don’t think i can call her that on here. Kim is a liar (and homewrecker), Lisa is cool but kinda boring, Kandi’s mouth moves annoyingly. NeNe is awesome and the best person (aside from NeNe) isn’t an official cast member (Dwight)
kinda over all of them, BUT…the real housewives of D.C. has definately gotten my attention.
I Love this show, Look AMERICA, if NeNe wasnt on the show then yes it will boring. NeNe sweetie you are country but ghetto in a good way. It’s in your voice, but I love you. Lisa is sneaky (mess started) she moves like a predator and then act dumb when people start arguing. Remember who told Kim about the song. Sharie, you have lost you C-Town attitude (shaker, whatever) we dont act like you in cleveland even the classy ladies……Boo Kandi, nothing to say, but you are cool.”Shot out to AJ, RIP” Kim you home wrecker, girl “close your legsto married man” (flashback from NeNe) Stop playing with fire and set an example for your girls, what are you teaching them. Dwight, the coolest, sweetest and down to earth person, you are doing the damn thang and keep them ladies in check, with you honest self, speak your mind and can run like hell in heels. And dont let all those other new men come still your thunder, you should be the only one. Now Kim and Sharie got friends to in heels on the show, stop the madness.

My sister told me about AJ and i could’nt believe it so i got on the phone and called everyone i knew( that watched the show) to find out if it was true! When i found out i prayed and started watching the re-runs! AJ came across to me as a intelligent,loving but yet strong blackman that loved you and your daugther and i believe that if you guys had gotten married it would have worked because he would have seen to it! I know she is annoying at imes but I laughed myself silly when she made that ” heifer” statement. Lets face it no Nene no show.
I like the show but NeNe don’t have to show her a– to get ratings. She sounds as ghetto as the next person. She makes herself look bad. Kim should not entertaine her explosive mood swings.For her to keep up so much drama she must be missing something in her own life. She looks like she’s from the hood trying hard to blend in. NeNe be yourself.You can tell she’s a very sweet person.
