Anderson Cooper’s AC 360 Ratings Hit 2009 Lows In October

Of course, the election drove much of the year over the year to year October declines for CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s AC 360, but the show has yet to find a ratings floor in 2009, and October was its lowest month of the year for both the cable news target adults 25-54 demo and average viewership.

Do note his Michael Jackson death “bump” in the summer. All those folks that tuned in subsequently just went elsewhere.

when cooper out-ed himself, that was the end. his ratings will not find a floor until cnn shows him the door.

Once Anderson made the teabagger comment he lost all credibility. CNN is blocked on my TV period.

Anderson Cooper going to Afghanistan. It brought back memories of Rambo III, in Afghanistan, final scene, Rambo turns his back and walks away into the sunset with not even a shirt on his back - say what?? Didn't they know he would be walking into hundreds and hundreds of miles of *nothing*? Hopefully AC will be more prepared than Rambo.

Anderson Cooper needs to come out of the closet. It would improve his ratings. Plus a little color in the hair and face you look like a albino. Stop the Obama Glee club act. You need to report the news. Not goto Afghanistan.

By comparison, more viewers would rather watch pre-recorded videos of CNN on YouTube with that hideous "NEWS" logo on the top left, than ol' Andy's giant head!

maybe they should switch to widescreen like fox that would take care of his gigantic head taking up the whole screen but with their rating why bother its not worth the penny no one is watching anyhow

What else do you expect. Anderson is a far left guy and so as obama goes down,so does all his media allies. I predict campbell brown and wolf blitzer will be next to go down.

His Teabagger comment was over the top and I think that has to do with a lot of his decline.

With Anderson Cooper, it's Anderson Cooper first and news second. You watch his program and what do you remember afterwards?? His head taking up the whole screen.
