Of course, the election drove much of the year over the year to year October declines for CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s AC 360, but the show has yet to find a ratings floor in 2009, and October was its lowest month of the year for both the cable news target adults 25-54 demo and average viewership.
Do note his Michael Jackson death “bump” in the summer. All those folks that tuned in subsequently just went elsewhere.

His Teabagger comment was over the top and I think that has to do with a lot of his decline.

maybe they should switch to widescreen like fox that would take care of his gigantic head taking up the whole screen but with their rating why bother its not worth the penny no one is watching anyhow
By comparison, more viewers would rather watch pre-recorded videos of CNN on YouTube with that hideous “NEWS” logo on the top left, than ol’ Andy’s giant head!
Anderson Cooper needs to come out of the closet. It would improve his ratings. Plus a little color in the hair and face you look like a albino. Stop the Obama Glee club act. You need to report the news. Not goto Afghanistan.

Anderson Cooper going to Afghanistan. It brought back memories of Rambo III, in Afghanistan, final scene, Rambo turns his back and walks away into the sunset with not even a shirt on his back – say what?? Didn’t they know he would be walking into hundreds and hundreds of miles of *nothing*? Hopefully AC will be more prepared than Rambo.
