This graph shows reason the White House is trying to deligitimize FNC. Every night the true message is getting out of what the administration is up to and they fear this. Bect has taken down ACORN, Van Jones, the NEA scandal and the other Mao lovers with more to follow. This is how journalism is suppose to work and not the way the MSM has behaved.
Glenn is mopping up the floor with his competitors, and i doubt very much he’s using a “socialist” mop.
In the Air Force they say “You know you are over the target when you are receiving flack.” Glen Beck is right on target and that is why he and Fox are receiving so much fire from the Whitehouse. Beck’s ratings will only grow from here as the public grow more discontent with the direction Obama and the liberal wing of the Democrats and Republicans move us away from our country’s traditional values.
All Beck’s ratings show are the prediliction of regular Cable news watchers to be poorly informed, educated and filled with hate for their fellow man.

I’d like to see the ‘legitimate’ media (CNN, MSNBC, etc) compared to the fake news; The Daily Show and John Stewart. I’ll bet even THEY get more ratings. Pretty sad, really.
SO…weeks and weeks of this particular set of data, all showing Beck cleaning clocks. Let’s look again in a couple of months, in case something’s changed? We seem pretty ‘done’ here…
I have never in my 66 years been in tune with anyone more than I am with Glenn Beck. He is right on and the Obama crowd knows it.
Here in lies the truth behind the White House vs FOX war. Glen Beck and the FNC prime time lineup reach an audience at a 3:1 ratio vs its competitors.
White House policy in any administration is always about getting the voters behind you. They are losing that fight simply because FOX news reaches so many more voters.
If FNC ratings were in the tank, the White House wouldn’t bother with trying to quiet them down.

( I think you mean Daily Show and Colbert Report. Actually, Colbert gets 2.2 – 2.7 million, and Daily Show 2.7 Million – 3 million on average. So yes, fake comedy news has higher ratings than CNN, BSNBC, and HLN combined. O’Rielly and Beck usually beat Colbert and Daily Show.

msnbc is the poorest excuse for a news network. They got a flake(mathews), a fraud(olberman) and a dyke(rachael). no wonder no one watches this crappy network.
Same old…same old. Ditto heads watch the same BS over and over…Right wingers, America’s unimformed and ill-informed only watch things that they already agree with or that fuels their fears.. Part of the rating calculation is ‘time-spent’ as measured by Nielsen, thus the impact of long viewing times limited to ‘faux ‘ News. Progressives, Democrats and better informed Republicans watch across a spectrum of news outlets including: MSNBC, PBS, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC…the internet and listen to booming public radio – hence a splintering of ratings. The right-wing blather continues. Recommend everyone read The Wrecking Crew by Thomas Frank…it will blow your mind and it’s very well researched. The wingers are ruinous!!

You used more Liberal Clichés in your posting than anything I read in several weeks. Unlike you, I do read what Liberals are posting in various website … Huffington, Salon, NY Times … since I like to hear the other side’s arguments.
One thing Conservatives won’t do is change their Brand label and try to market their philosophies and actions under false flags as do the Liberals. Oh, excuse me, “Progressives”, or is it “Social Progressives” or “Progressive Liberals”?
A bad product can’t appeal to consumers simply by a name change.
Nice try to use a “splintering” of viewers to try to explain why the liberal news outlets have less viewers. But since the total of those watching all 3 liberal cable stations is not even close to the total of Fox viewers, that won’t wash.
You Progressive-Liberals should apply for coverage under the “Endangered Species Act”. You seem to losing numbers the longer Obama is in office and may be entitled to some grants for preservation of habitats.
If you like Glenn Beck on T.V. you’ll LOVE him even better on the radio. I have been listening to him 3 hours a day on AM talk-radio for almost 5 years now. I knew who he was long before he ever had a show on T.V. Remember, he was on Headline News at 5PM before he was hired on at FOX. His radio show is a hoot! They do far more comedy. His t.v. show is way more serious in nature. Somedays I like him better on T.V. than radio. Especially since Michael Savage (The
Savage Nation) is on opposite him in the same time slot on a sister station in our market. He’s on over 500 radio stations from Coast to Coast and his message has always been the same. His radio audience is closer to 15 Million weekly listeners, right after Hannity, and of-course the master of the airwaves (Rush Limbaugh) with over 20 Million listeners. Howard Stern could NEVER come even close to Rush’s ratings, even in his hey-day when he was also on E! Entertainment. Now E! sucks, and so does Howard Stern. But, all these years later, Rush is still #1 in terms of ratings. Not even BECK can beat him!!!
Beck is the most smart person on the news. I listen to him and he knows the truth. Obamas zars are all communist. The want all of us to give our money to the poor. Beck knows they want to take our freedom and rights away from good Americans. Beck says we should take America back. And don’t take the swine flu shot because he knows it is a communist shot. Can’t wait until the conservatives are back in office. Beck for president and Sarah for Vice presisdent! Those ignoront liberals don’t stand a chance. Then we will get all the freedoms and liberty back that the dems took from us.
Why are you conservatives so angry and mean? You talk about rights and freedoms and yet you want to take away the right of women to have a choice. You want to take away the rights of gays. The thought of an abortion of an embryo makes you angry, but the thought of an execution of a prisoner makes you joyous. You want to stop terrorism, but your not even aware that it was the Saudi’s that flew the planes into the World Trade Center not the Iraqi’s, which by the way are two different countries. You don’t want to spend tax payer dollars on Health Care, but you have no problem using tax payer dollars for military excursions. You want to stop migrant workers from coming over the border, but you refuse to find the corporations that hire this slave labor. You consider the President a Socialist, but since he has more money than you can ever dream of, doesn’t that make him a Capitalist? You are afraid that this President has taken away your freedoms and rights, but in reality you can’t identify a single right of liberty that you have lost. The economy is in a mess, but that’s because the elitist bankers control it. They manipulate the masses to make us think that the source of the problems lies between political parties. While Republicans and Democrats fight over ideology, they sit back and steal all of our money. While these bankers destroy the economy and the futures of our children’s children, we run around thinking that the puppets in Congress are in power. Gentleman, don’t fear our President. You want to oust the President and restore family values in America when our President is a family man while your leaders like Beck and Limbaugh seem to have issues with marital commitment. And by their own emission, problems with drugs and alcohol. I’m not judging them because we are all human, but how can you preach values that you don’t live?
Look, we are Americans, left or right when the chips are down, we have each other’s backs. We might disagree politically but our ability to remain American is what makes this country great. wow Curious George your right on. When glenn beck first got his show last year Fox ran ads about it saying it wasn’t a bout the left or the right but its about America. But when Obama became president Glenn Beck now spends his whole hour bashing the Obama Adminstration. He bashes Obama about using a teleprompter when he uses one ever single night. The guy even admits on air when he is wrong and that he is nuts. you can say what you want about keith olbermann not having anybody own that disagrees with him and bashing republicans and Faux News. Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity are no different than KO or RM. Atleast KO and RM give there opinions on things with alot more facts than Glenn and Hannity. You can fact check most of the things they say and it is completely wrong or pants on fire. So what they have high ratings most of their viewers are being fed lies anyway. on top of that they always say “the MSM never covers this or that” Well if they are high and mighty on their ratings doesnt that make them apart of the MSM? and the other media outlets cover stories Faux covers, its just that Fox over covers them and adds on lies and spend their whole news shows talking about lies. Shepard Smith is the only real fair and balanced “journalist” on Faux.

Show examples of where Beck and Hannity lied. Just because you disagree with them, doesn’t make them liars. All of the stuff Beck has shown, were the actual audio, video, or written words of the people he has covered. How can they be lies? That might be why his ratings are so much higher than the rest of the competition combined. You may not like the messenger, but you would be a fool to ignore the message.
The vast majority of media has been left or Democrat leaning since the days of Cronkite and Brinkley because they had no competition from the right. Believe me, the senior management of Fox cares less about balance and more about their shareholders. The Fox guys and the radio networks were the only ones clever enough to understand that conservatives read the most newspapers and watch/listen to the most electronic news programming. At the end of the day – its all a business and the Fox guys and the conservative radio hosts are the ones raking in the advertising money – not CNN and Al Franken. Somebody at CNN and NBC needs to start looking after their shareholders, deep six their uber liberals and start trying to attract conservative audiences before their shareholders deep six them.

If anybody in America beleives Obama wants to take away free speech and all the other crazy things far right wing republican beleive he is trying to do are really nuts. If this is a center right country like you beleive then obama would never succeed in trying to do all that crazy things you guys say he trying to do so why bother in lying about it? Glenn Beck thinks Obama is trying to take away free speech and silencing the opposition when thats not true. President Obama specifically said he will call people out if they get their facts wrong. Since Faux is wrong on just about everything they “report” about the Obama Adminstration, the Adminstration has a right to defend its self if they beleive somebody is wrong. They did the samething about the AP report about jobs.
Glen Beck’s cryings are true and from the heart. He represents the true vision for this country. He knows what to say to all those ignoranuse liberals. He’s gonna pull the carpet out of Obama bin Laden and stick it to commies like Micheal More. I’ll follow this man if it means spending all my time watching tv and listening to all radio shows. I know he is true in his heart and he knows he will lead us into enlitenment with his questionings and uncovering the problems in our beloved country.
