I have to admit that my first reaction when I read this was “He’s been on eight years already?”.

Syndicated talk show “Dr. Phil” has been renewed through the 2013-2014 season in 70% of the country, including 20 of the top 25 markets.

The three-year renewal will take “Dr. Phil,” now in its eighth year, through its 12th season.

  4. Rick Holy says:

The continuation of the downfall of TV as we know it. I’d rather watch Marcus Welby reruns than “Doctor” Phil. What a joke.

  5. Mumbo says:

If you can’t handle Dr. Phil getting four more seasons, you need to get real.

You need to identify the problem. Be real with yourself. Be true and understand yourself. You need to admit you have a problem. It starts with you. Only you can help you.

Now here’s a specialist to actually do my job for me.
