  1. lkl says:

Glenn Beck is back. That’s fantastic!!!!

  2. JC says:

    Wow! O’Reilly kicked butt.

  3. Tony says:

OReilly used to double Olbrrdouche, then he used to triple his ratings…and now on the verge of quadrupling them. No wonder KO is always in a bad mood.
Thank you Obama administration for the war on Fox News. It’s working out great so far.

  4. Rosie says:

Fox News. It is the only channel worth watching.
I even have it on my satellite radio in my car, yay

  5. Kay says:

Great to see Beck back, he had another great show today!!!

  6. AppleStinx says:

Larry King does very well when it comes to discussing somebody’s death.

  7. Rob says:

Now with the series over, I believe that FOX’s ratings will go higher. So far Monday and Tuesday have been markedly higher than previous Mondays and Tuesdays. And good for you Rosie, I too have FNC on my XM radio as well!

  8. Ron says:

Saw that Lou Dobbs is leaving CNN. His was the only show I could stand to watch on CNN. Hope he goes to Fox

  9. Demonjoe says:

Without Lou Dobbs CNN will be even more liberal.

  10. guy says:

Watching Dobbs is like watching a fence post. It doesn’t take long before I’m watching something else.

  11. DGL says:

Why are all the commentators on MSNBC trying to convince us that the terrorist isnt a terrorist and is just a kook? Mathews finds it hard to even call him the killer. Does anyone think they wouldnt be calling him a terrorist if he shot up an abortion clinic?

  12. wm. palmer says:

I will miss Lou Dobbs-he was the only thing good on CNN.

  13. Kellsws6 says:

woot for O’Reilly thats huge!!! to bad for the libs I really feel bad for them :(

  14. Ron says:

Beck is back on his game. Great to see he is well. I thought maybe he had got shot by a liberal. Oh!!! forgot, liberals don’t believe in guns.

  15. GaryD7310 says:

Wow, O’Reilly at 4 Million, that is totally awesome, he is truly the King of Cable News, I am so glad Beck is back, I like the Judge, but Beck is one of a kind. Did you see Oberbites ratings compared to Fox and Friends? Just about the same, pretty pathetic for that goober.

  16. You can wave the anti-lib flag at the report of these ratings but don’t you understand that Fox, MSNBC, CNN viewers, for the most part, are a rotating crowd. All except for the diehard scooby-doos who see it all slipping away at 20%. The volume of those voices will diminish as the 20% shrinks further…and believe me, it will.
Let’s face it, the world is right side up again and many can’t get oriented to that fact! ! !

  17. russc says:

Beck , Great to have him back.He is still waiting for the CALL.He had a great show tonight.I would like to see Dobbs move to Fox.

  18. Phillip says:

Maybe fox will get rid of Hannity and put Lou in his spot. Great to see Glenn Back.

  19. Julian says:

Why were the numbers up so much for most of CNN and Fox? What happened yesterday?

  20. DonnaFrFlorida says:

Maybe fox will get rid of Shep – This time slot ratings would soar

  21. Tony says:

Chris Mathews is in full defense mode of the Fort Hood terrorist…even saying it wasn’t criminal for him to call Al Queda. Are you kiddin me? Are you FREAKIN kidding me? Mathews can keep his head in the sand about terrorists and obviously about his abysmal ratings. What he doesn’t realize is that the Fort Hood terrorist would have shot him dead too that day if he had the chance.

  22. Doc Rosceaux says:

No mental giant to figure this one out ………….. Fox, all it’s Primetime” shows blows all of the other cable networks out the water combined… Reason, they speak to the folks in a direct, informative way presenting both sides of the issues with both sides represented. The rest … ignore the topics that are of most concern in realtime and address them maybe later in a central/leftist way as they want to spin them. Forget about the complete story with both sides. As for most of the cable shows, other than those on Fox, are terrible mostly because they are condescending to the viewers and are unbelievable in their open arrogance to the viewer !!! Olberman – is not only NOT FUNNY, he is ignorant, an ultraleftist and definitely condescending. Rachel Maddow, Big Ed are jokes and Chris Matthews is a blowhard – that has an overblown ego that refeals his lack of fairness and his utter contempt and hatred of Southerners !!! These folks and the pathetic team on CNN are embarrassing for them.

  23. ccrider says:

Do most people think the Mika only version of Morning Joe is boring – or just a few? The show, to me at least, seems lively when Scarborough is on but a yawn when he’s not. He doesn’t seem to have many energetic guests any more. And why doesn’t Pat Buchanan make appearances any longer? I find more and more I’m watching Imus. You?
And why isn’t FBN on more cable TV services?

  24. D.J. says:

Julian asks: “Why were the numbers up so much for most of CNN and Fox? What happened yesterday?”

Tuesday night was the execution of the “DC Sniper.” It just so happened to be scheduled during the same hour as Larry King’s show, so, of course, they devoted the show to the execution. And based on the rating (when was the last time “LKL” broke 1.5 million?) it was the way to go. As AppleStinx notes above: “Larry King does very well when it comes to discussing somebody’s death.”

As an aside, it will be interesting to see CNN’s rating for Dobbs on Wednesday night, even though there was not that much of an advanced notice before the show. It would also be interesting to see the audience breakdown by quarter hour, i.e. how many viewers stayed tuned into CNN after Dobbs made the announcement, and how many viewers watched the final moments, in which Dobbs simply said “God bless our troops, thanks and I’ll see you on the radio” and then threw it to credits.

  25. D.J. says:

Another request: I would also like to see a breakdown of Fox’s “Special Report” over the last year, post-election and the transition from Brit Hume to Bret Baier as host.

  26. Lee707 says:

People here are a little to happy over cable news ratings…

  27. K113 says:

    hey i agree with u Lee707 lol

  28. daveinboca says:

Lee & K, guess we know what part of the underworld you usually inhabit.

  29. WTF says:

I wonder how CNN/HLN is number one from Nielson Ratings, in house hold ratings with 99.098 million beating three cable news networks like CNBC: 96.78 million HHs
FNC: 96.26 million HHs; MSNBC: 92.64 million HHs. Most people I know don’t even watch cable news at all. They tell me there is too much spend heads on most cable news so you will never get the true stories. I always tell them that Beck, Hannity an my man O’Reilly is not news their Opinionated shows, but they still want watch none of the cable news just local news.

  30. mark-allen says:

    couple of thoughts…

chris m from hardball seems remarkably unaware in his assesment of the fort hood attack…

joy “the shrew” behar’s ratings seem very consistant…i wonder who is watching…

  31. Peloton says:

We haven’t seen “kick butt” yet; if Lou Dobbs joins FOX – there won’t be room for the number digits required to reflect their viewers.

  32. kevin says:

We Democrats have our president in office and control of Congress. The Republicans have their newsanchors on a cable news show! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

  33. KaiSC says:

Wow, that says a lot Kevin. Sad, very sad.

  34. Laurenz says:

Glenn Beck is back, and in fine Form to do battle against this
    marxist-socialist Chaos Regime.
Lou Dobbs quit, don’t blame him, he was the only sane Voice on an
    haywire gone CNN

  35. Palin Backer says:

Dobbs has been going down ever since CNN decided to be in the tank with Obama. Dobbs does not fit the Obama Worshipers. But, he was the only real person doing anything for ratings at CNN. Larry King? Has anyone actually taken his pulse lately? Reminds me of Weekend at Bernie’s.

  36. guy says:

When my children are in the room, neither Dolbermann nor Madcow are to be on our TV. We refuse to allow our young children to be exposed to so much hate. Perhaps when they are older we can use these two people as teaching tools.

  37. mark-allen says:

larry king and weekend at bernies…now THAT was funny.

  38. D.J. says:

And ironic considering his highest ratings all year came during the time a guy died.

  39. Steve says:

Wow!!! I knew Fox News kicked the other cable networks in ratings, but in almost every case, they have more viewers than all other cable news networks COMBINED!!!!! What are the other networks doing wrong? Or what is Fox doing right?????

  40. Demonjoe says:

Steve, it’s both. Almost everyone at the other networks are kissing Obama and the White house’s asses, and FOX is the only news station where the majority of the people on there will even dare question the government.

  41. Lee707 says:

We have Obama and Congress. Republicans have people like Hannity on Fox news given you bogus footage in DC.

  42. skillshoe says:

Keep up th good work MSNBC! You are always telling the truth!

  43. Demonjoe says:

MSNBC does not always tell the truth.

  44. Demonjoe says:

Lee707, you guys won’t have the white house for long according to recent gallup polls.

    http://www.gallup.com/poll/124226/Republicans-Edge-Ahead-Democrats-2010-Vote.aspx

  45. skillshoe says:

Jon Stewart got Fox News lying again. Hannity showed a video showing a teabagger rally that Beck had in Sept. He act like it it was Michelle Bachmans from last week rally which only had 5,000 people. He had to apoloigizes for showing the fake rally. Pres.Obama have been vindecatied.
Fox News is not a news station!

  46. Demonjoe says:

I don’t think I could ever trust a news show on Comedy Central.

  47. guy says:

I caught msnbc telling the truth and they lied out of it.

  48. Julian says:

If you are still chanting about other networks not questioning Obama, you are seriously uninformed. Don’t go just by what O’Reilly and Beck tell ya.

  49. Joe says:

Kevin and Lee707, yes we democrats may control congress and the white house but if they dont get health care done (suppose to be done before the august reccess) this year and unemployment isnt between 5 and 7% before november of 2010 then the democrats can kiss there majories goodbye the health care bill is turning into a an abortion bill and they cant even agree on getting a strong public option in the bill…so as a democrat i dont have high hopes for next year…

  50. skillsjo, difference is that Fox has the class to admit and aplogize for a mistake! That’s because Fox folks have class.
