It was a good night of entertainment indeed :)

  2. johnthemon says:

yet another award show that doesn’t matter.

    When are the Grammy’s?

  3. Sarah says:

There were a lot of hyped moments for last night’s AMA’s, but only 1 truly lived up to the hype: Whitney Houston’s triumphant performance of “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” that even had country music queen Reba McEntire in tears by songs end.

  4. Anonymous says:

Looks like a lot of “older” people tuned in last night – and I’m sure they were all none too pleased about Adam Lambert LOL

  5. Sam says:

One has to wonder why all music award shows this year have increased in viewership. I think the pop climate is exciting again like how it was in the 80s when Madonna and MJ were over the top. With MJ’s death and Lady Gaga’s on stage shananagians, people seem to be tunning in!

  6. Julian says:

Lady Gaga was a miss yesterday. I was expecting much more. The Bad Romance performance was rushed and the other one was just strange the langer it lasted.

  7. Joe says:

I loved Whitney’s performance. when i saw Reba in tears i myself almost cried.

  8. Parenthood says:

I loved Adam’s performance. Sure, people are complaining. But, it’s purpose was to cause controversy.

  9. Larryville Slim says:

Parenthood, you are wrong. The purpose of Adam Lambert’s performance was to sell copies of his recording and to increase his celebrity, both of which mean more MONEY in his pocket. Controversy was just a means to that end.

  10. genagirl says:

Wait, 14 million people watched, 1500 people complained about Adam Lambert and that was a “moderate” amount? Yeah, right.
