While I was snoozing, ABC sent out a press release about Christmas at the Whitehouse: An Oprah Primetime Special on December 13. By the time I woke up, I didn’t even bother looking at any of the early AM releases. Bill had the morning duties today, but in a hurry to head over the river and through the woods didn’t post the release opting instead to post stats that Bill and I seem to be the only ones who care about. 
While Thanksgiving is traditionally a very slow time, I’m pretty sure James Hibberd is having his highest traffic day of the month, if not in the history of The Live Feed. He and Nellie Andreeva did a write-up on it and Drudge made it his top story (with the headline “Merry O-Mas: ABC Announces Oprah Obama Christmas Special”) linking to it. Oprah + Obama + Drudge Top Story = A very Happy Thanksgiving for the Live Feed! The post had about 300 comments in the first hour. And if you’re the type of person who is inclined to comment on Oprah+Obama, please don’t comment here, comment there!
It’s funny when Drudge links to something, you always see conservatives bashing liberals in overwhelming numbers.
The inevitable comparisons to Oprah’s Palin interview should be interesting.

All politics aside President Obama is just on TV way too much. I mean, he’ll be doing this 10 days after ANOTHER prime time press conference.
At this point he’s just diluting his impact further and further.
With some polls showing he’s fallen below 50% popularity and that a big reason for that is because people feel he’s all talk I just don’t see why his media team doesn’t sit him down and say “Mr President, you’ve been on TV way too much”.
To the Obama Team: Please look overexposure up in the dictionary (and don’t be surprised if you find your bosses picture accompanying the caption)
I’d rather watch Sarah Palin for the umpteen time.

Who are you to accuse President Obama of partying when out previous President spent a total of nearly two years of his Presidency on vacation at either Camp David or at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
Plus President Obama is traveling to other countries to actually meet with world leaders and discuss important issues like climate change, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the global economy.
I won’t go into the whole foreclosure drama here; that would take a whole website unto itself; but it appears your friend probably bought a house that was way overvalued. I’m not blaming or chastising your friend; a lot of people did the same thing thanks to the housing bubble. As bad as the housing market is, the average price of homes still has not fallen back to 2003 levels yet. The market won’t begin to recover until housing gets back to more reasonable price levels.

If the home’s foreclosure auction value was $26,000, then its actual value was never close to $127,000. More than $26,000 but not near what your friend paid.
The primetime special will be named “O2: A Green Christmas in the White House” except if Michelle gets in the middle, the title changes to “O3: A Volatile Christmas in the Dog House”.

I just don’t understand after the last President how any of you dense people can make comments about anything this President does. “This President goes on vacation too much.” Bush spent more time on vacation than any other President in history. “I think he should be impeached.” Bush committed crimes that we put the Japanese to death for doing to us in WWII. Where were all you mealy mouths back then huh?
