The final season premiere of Lost was up in the adults 18-49 ratings from last season’s premiere, while American Idol stayed strong and helped Fox win the night. CBS’s lineup and NBC’s Biggest Loser held up reasonably well under the Idol + Lost competition.

Lost’s 5.6 adults 18-49 rating from 9-11pm was up 10% from last year’s 5.1 rating. (although ABC is reporting last year’s premiere at a 5.0 rating, which would make the increase 12%) That’s quite an accomplishment in today’s broadcast television environment and bodes well for this season’s results. It was also ABC’s best two hour ratings for a series since 11/27/07.

American Idol’s 8.9 rating at 8pm was down just 1% from last Tuesday, and since there was an overrun into the 9pm hour is somewhat likely to increase in the final ratings. Idol haters can continue to lament, it’s down just 5% in the 18-49 ratings so far this season from last season to date. Following Idol, Kitchen Nightmares posted its largest ever 3.9 adults 18-49 rating, although with the Idol overrun, that’s likely to be adjusted downward in the finals.

CBS held up pretty well during the Lostapalooza. NCIS was up 8% from last week to a 4.3 rating, while NCIS:LA was down 3% to a 3.6 rating. The Good Wife took the biggest hit, down 13% from its last original episode to a 2.6 rating.

NBC’s Biggest Loser likely benefited more from not being against Idol, than against its head to head with Lost, as it was down just 3% from last week to a 3.7 rating from 9-11pm.

In Late-Night Local People Meters Monday night:

  • Conan O’Brien (1.0/4 in 18-49 in local people meters with an encore telecast) trailed CBS’s first-run Late Show (1.1/5) in Nielsen’s 25 local markets with People Meters.
  • At 12:35 a.m., Jimmy Fallon (0.5/3 in 18-49 in local people meters ) tied CBS’s Late Late Show (0.5/3 with an encore telecast).

Definitions:

*Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted ViewingProgram ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs which are currently in approximately 24.4% of all U.S. TV households. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  1. Jack says:

My prediction in the other article was

“12.7 million and 5.4 18-49 average for both.”

  2. Ian says:

Wow, well done Lost, incredible. Seems to have knocked The Biggest Loser and The Good Wife somewhat.

  3. Guiiiii says:

    GO GO GO LOST!

MAKE YOUR SEASON FINALE A BOMB

  4. cool says:

#1 scripted show for the week ?

  5. Acey says:

I do recall some people expecting 17 million viewers for Lost with 6.0 demo.

  6. steven says:

It really makes me wonder what the CW is doing. Repeats and repeats every Tuesday.

Really good result for Lost! Excellent figures for 18-49! Well done!

  7. Dan-O says:

    Go Lost.

Poor “Good Wife.” I predict a Friday banishment next fall, possibly in the current numb3rs slot.

  8. Pitchy says:

    Strong premiere for Lost!

  9. tdot says:

well the good wife was up against competition for the first time ever
    I love the good wifeeeeee

  10. steven says:

Great Tuesday numbers overall for ABC!

  11. BG says:

Usually, once we get the Final rating for (Live+SD), Lost could even have a little more higher on the ratings and viewers side.

  12. Cucumber Jones says:

The Biggest Loser held up nicely against Lost, but DAMN Kitchen Nightmares! I know it had a hell of a lead-in, but I didn’t expect a high 3 up against Loser and Lost.

And what morons tuned out in the third half-hour of Lost, then came back for the final half hour? Does this boggle anyone else’s mind?

  13. timotey says:

Good numbers for NCIS:LA against Lost!

  14. Tom says:

Good Wife is probably bound for Sunday, not Friday. In any case, I doubt it will stay where it is, especially with Criminal Minds 2 needing a slot.

As far as Lost goes – not being in AI’s way helps! Of course, with Little Genius dead, Lost won’t get many AI free airings – though I think Lost will eventually win handily vs. Glee (Glee will get heavily DVRed, I imagine).

  15. Really Tired says:

    ABC Love? On this board??

    SHOCKING!!

  16. Master Moron says:

Yeah! CBS in third place! Down with CBS!

  17. John the Mon says:

Interesting night for a Tuesday. Biggest Loser looks like it might do well starting at 9, it’s 10pm numbers will go up when it’s not against Lost.

  18. tdot says:

the biggest loser held steady ugh
tuesdays feel like theyre getting overly crowded for some reason

  19. Nightstar says:

    :-) :-) :-) :-) I’m a bit happy with this bit of fun I had from a previous article:

As for ratings, well, I doubt it’s a stretch to say that I think they will be up about 7%-10% overall from last year. Final year, heavy PR push, lots of buzz.

No, I didn’t give specific numbers. Yes, I used a range. I still don’t care, I was pretty close to the bull’s eye for a change.

Have a nice day and, Lost Fans… enjoy the rest of the ride! :-)

  20. rob says:

Lost did amazing! I think it can hold these ratings all spring. The finale will be HUGE! ABC has to be thrilled. Thats their best Tuesday in a veryy long time!

  21. GermanScrubsFan says:

Noo… a seasonlow for NCIS in total Viewers. The first time under 20 million!

  22. Sparky says:

Damn the Good Wife took a big hit last night and the show is getting really good… Even though its up against Lost for the rest of the season it has been renewed for a second and Lost is finished after this season, I really hope that they keep it on Tues nights… The Criminal Minds spin off would probably suit Wed nights much better after the original airs like they do with NCIS…

  23. Matt says:

The Biggest Loser did something Jay could not… overcome The Good Wife.

Lets see how Lost’s numbers do once all the hype of this being the final season dies down, by mid-Feb to early March. Some of my friends, who are obsessed fans, said they are more confused than ever now.

  24. Tom says:

If ABC hadn’t announced the final season 3 years ago, this may have been my exit point from Lost, but since the end is so close, I’m stickin with it. This episode was so confusing! Did not like Juliet dying at all. They need to start unwinding but continue to pile on more confusion!

  25. John says:

    i guessed 5.6 but with 14 millions,

2 great episodes, lets see how it does next week

  26. Nicotine says:

CBS really held up against Lost’s premiere, which I was not expecting at all. The Good Wife seemed to suffer a bit, but just a bit. And it’s a good thing Lost didn’t go head up against AI, because that would have been brutal.

  27. Pete B says:

I wouldn’t worry about The Good Wife. Lost is NOT going up against it the rest of the season. The new regular timeslot for Lost is 9pm, so it will be against NCIS:LA and The Biggest Loser.

  28. Anil says:

Oh yeaahh GO LOSTTT!!! Since it’s the final season…I’m sure the people who stopped watching will tune in as well. Especially the final episode in may…now thats gonna get HUGE numbers.

  29. ruudisss says:

Whoa… Tuesdays are the new Thursdays! :D

  30. Aquat1c F1sh says:

Wow, awesome job Lost. :D Can’t wait to watch the episode tonight online when my classes are over…

Poor NBC, their best night of the week… And they’re still in last. :(

Also, it looks like NCIS won’t be beating American Idol in viewers this year. I was kinda hoping though.

  31. Acey says:

@Sparky Season/series average for The Good Wife coming into last night: 2.875, so it’s not terribly bad. Yes it’s down 4 tenths from a pair of 3.0′s in a row since its last 2 originals, but the last new ep was on 1/12, and combined with going up against the Lost premiere AND Biggest Loser I don’t think the CBS folks are at all concerned with a 2.6 which merely ties the season’s lowest, not setting a new mark outright.

  32. val says:

So what’s the prediction for Lost when it starts going up against AI?

  33. Lara says:

I am sorry but with all the buzz, the media coverage, the brainwahsing done by ABC, I think LOSt did really POORLY! Overall the Good wife is still strong! SO maybe LOST should move to Fridays or Sunday night

  34. The_GodfatherSJP says:

Just because I can, it’s time for Human Target Bashing.

Kitchen Nightmares averaged a 3.7-3.8 (adjusting for Finals a bit right there). Human Target, same time slot last week, a 3.1.

Anyone want to start a pool on how many posts we’ll see about HT tanking, especially after tonight’s ratings? I’d guess a 2.5-2.7 with about 8 million viewers for 8PM tonight.

  35. cool says:

LOL, you must be kidding, Lost will be the #1 SCRIPTED show on TV this week.

  36. Acey says:

@val I don’t think Lost and its dedicated fans will take a huge hit against AI, probably hover around 5.0. What I’m more worried about is Criminal Minds, which is definitely going to take a demo hit tonight and beyond against the Wednesday Idol. SVU in a rerun will help, but it’s not going to be pretty tonight for CBS’ at 9, though NY will shine as usual against Leno/Betty at 10. Season low for CM is a 3.2, it’ll be lucky to get that.

  37. Bill Gorman says:

The_GodfatherSJP, I am in line with that ratings guess for tonight’s Human Target. But to put that in perspective, a 2.6 what Fringe fans were *happy* to see over the last several weeks at 9pm Thursday.

  38. John says:

@GermanScrubsFan..NCIS is up in demo from last week, which is what matters. Plus, I think it fell under 20 million a while ago. I don’t have a date though.

  39. GermanScrubsFan says:

    @ John
Last week The CBS Press Release said every original NCIS airing was 20+ million I think.
I know that only demo numbers are important, but i’d love to see a scripted show beating AI at least in total viewers.

  40. BG says:

Lara, You need to read the facts. The Strong Demos pretty much tell the story for LOST, and the fact that it didn’t most of it’s viewers from the 1st hour. This shows that LOST viewership is actually much higher than what you see and hear.

Once the LIVE+SD+7-Day numbers come out, it should show LOST gaining another 1.5-2.0 million viewers. So, a Final DEMO of about 6.5-7.0 for LOST is pretty impressive, with about 14 million viewers watching it on live or on DVR.
LOST is always one of the top shows in terms of online viewing, and TV DVD sales, and international audience.

  41. Lara says:

Im sorry BG but Lost against NCIS will always lose, Im just saying that considering the huge armada of media deployed it didnt do as well as I thought it would.

  42. Matt says:

Uh Laura youre crazy. Lost was the #1 scripted. Show. plus as was pointed out cult shows have an audience far beyond over night ratings .

Plus its the final season so obviously its not moving to fridays next season.

  43. Sam says:

Wow can Lost beat both Anatomy and Housewives for the first time ever? Both shows are setting lows week after week, and with Lost returning strong for it’s heavily hyped final season, I’m willing to bet it will win the demo’s easily over the other two. Total viewers might be a bigger challenge. But it’s finally nice to see Lost in the same calliber with the other two, not that ABC ever treated it like it wasn’t one. Lost has been ABC’s darling since Season 1…they promote it more than Housewives for sure.

  44. nkinsey says:

I believe these numbers for Lost will stay the same throughout the rest of the final season.

  45. Julax says:

Hey Matt, calling Lara crazy is not going to help..I think she is just responding to Dan-O and his poor judgement

  46. bob says:

NCIS doesnt deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Lost.
lost will be watched by new viewers for years down the road. NCIS will be dead and buried.

  47. Lara says:

I agree with you Bob, NCIS is not in the same league but so far it still seems to do better, hope you are right in the long run.

  48. Samuel says:

Impressive, considering th fact that, if you didn’t watch season 5, there is now way in hell that you are going to be able to follow the finale season of Lost. Either those extra people will run back where there from or, a lot of people bought the Season 5 DVD. In any case, we’ll see next tuesday.

  49. Jason says:

What is the last scripted show to pull a 5.6 at 10:30pm? I feel like you don’t see that number like ever.

  50. Me says:

@Lara: “Im sorry BG but Lost against NCIS will always lose”

The season premiere of Lost beat NCIS in the demos, which are the numbers that matter.

  51. Holly says:

Psst…Lara… the monster avatar doesn’t change when you change the name, so we all know it’s still you.

  52. Bill Gorman says:

Good point by Jason. Those 10pm Lost ratings are particularly high considering the scripted landscape at 10pm.

  53. Lara says:

@ holly, what are you talking about?

  54. X-R.G. says:

Regardless…that seems to be a lot of viewers across the board…it looks like everyone was a winner…well except the CW?!

  55. Bill Gorman says:

Lara, the fact that you = Julax is apparent from the little picture next to the names.

As my seven year old would say, “Busted!”.

  56. Dario says:

WOW! What a great night for CBS,NBC,ABC & FOX! I predicted 5.5 for Lost..

  57. The_GodfatherSJP says:

Ah, but Bill, this is not a direct comparison. The 9PM Thursday timeslot is a much tougher beast to handle than the 8PM Wednesday slot.

    1) Fringe has MUCH stiffer competition than HT will at the 8PM hour. Fringe is up against the flagship series for the other networks between CSI, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Office (I know CSI has slipped of late but you have to admit, given the spin-offs, it’s still one of CBS’s biggest brands)
    2) Fringe also performed better than HT did with an IDOL lead in.
    3) Fringe is in its second season and its audience is far more stable. HT is a new show that’s been extensively sampled on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, all against lesser shows. HT’s more capable of losing the audience.

  58. Outlander says:

I think these ratings data call into question some of the conventional wisdom about shows getting screwed by timeslots. Despite Lostapolooza, you’ve got AI’s demo ratings basically unchanged, NCIS’s demo ratings going up, and the biggest ratings “loser” of the night–the Good Wife–only suffering a 13% demo hit.

The timeslot argument (“oh, if only Fringe were on Wednesdays!”) is based on the claims TV viewers are a fixed quantity, and that the ratings war is just a zero-sum competition for that fixed quantity. What you saw last night suggests that, in part, shows are drawing in new viewers (i.e. enlarging the pie) rather than cannibalizing other shows (i.e. grabbing a bigger slice of the same pie).

  59. Lara says:

Oh I see, but someone else (im at home) used the same page with a different name to answer, thats why you have the same icon.

  60. Bill Gorman says:

Outlander, don’t forget that most Americans watching TV (of all age demos), were watching ad supported cable last night, not broadcast.

  61. Bill Gorman says:

Lara, ah, yes, was it your brother posting to defend you with the same email address or just an imaginary friend?

  62. Chuck Tranberg says:

Been a long time since NBC had a 3.7 demo and 9.3 million viewers at 10PM during the week.

  63. Calvin says:

Matt, I believe Lara meant that new episodes of Lost will always lose to new episodes of NCIS in total viewers, not the A 18-49 demo. Of course LOST is likely to win the A 18-49 demo to the end of this season.

As far as television advertisers are concerned, they are not interested in SD + 7 ratings. Television advertisers place more importance to same day ratings. You don’t see the same number of advertisements in hulu that you see on television. Television advertisers pay big bucks to place commercials on television, not on the internet.

Matt, you’re right that ratings beyond overnight ratings do matter when it comes selling DVDs and other LOST merchandise. Those ratings convince third party companies to offer lucrative licensing agreements to ABC to develop and sell LOST merchandise.

  64. Lynn says:

CBS isn’t worried. What other scripted show could even compete against American Idol, Biggest Loser, and Lost (even if it was a clip show). And The Good Wife is a good fit where it is. Depends what the other networks decide to put opposite it on Tuesdays. Why ruin something that is working and shove in something new? CBS needs to leave that Tuesday slot alone. How many shows have been in that spot since Judging Amy went off the air?

Lost may be good (don’t really know since I only saw one episode) but it involves a big investment in time to watch the whole thing. Is anybody syndicating it?

  65. Lara says:

sorry Bill, not my brother, my partner.. i dont even know how those avator worked untill Holly pointed it out.. sorry ..

  66. tdot says:

I think it’s pretty safe to say that if you haven’t been following LOST before, you’re probably not gonna just up and start watching

  67. thirdsaint says:

Those numbers for Lost are fantastic, I don’t care who says otherwise. Yes, there was a heavy campaign for the final season, but a show that’s as heavily serialized and plot focused as Lost won’t pull in many new viewers in its 6th and final season. Any new viewers will be the ones who’ve (like myself) spent the last year or so buying the DVD’s and catching up for this final season.

  68. Rock says:

The demo was a big number, but can the show keep it up for the entire season? That was two mind-boggling hours they delivered last night…this show has become so love-it-or-hate-it the ratings could be volatile.

BUT, it’s not on Wednesdays anymore. Is there any doubt these numbers would be much different if LOST was up against AMERICAN IDOL? Unless the show sucks total ass the rest of the way, the final season combined with a better night should mean high demo performance.

  69. John Galt says:

LOST. Just when you thought they couldnt make this any more confusing they actually did it. Two sets of people? What if the meet? Will the universe explode? Of course thats what I like about it – it really gives your brain a workout trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

    LOL!

  70. Simon says:

Lost was interresting enough, I really hope the writers will finally give us answers. Does the part where we see all survivors still on the plane and land in LAX, supposed to show events as “If the plane hadn’t crashed? In that case, we didn’t need to wait for a 6th season for that, I hope its more elaborate than that. But overall I liked it.

  71. Martin says:

Too bad that the Good Wife notched a little; beyond Glee, it’s the only show premiering in 2009 that’s really good.

However, could it have anything to do with the fact that it returned from a hiatus and not everyone knew about it returning or did it just lose some of that 18-49 audience to Lost?

  72. Dylan says:

While I haven’t watched this show in years, based on the “Survivors land in LAX unharmed” timeline, I can almost guarantee that they somehow end up on the island anyway, even though they landed safely. This would play into that they were “destined” to be there.

Again, haven’t watched in years, and it’s pure speculation, but that would be my guess.

  73. thirdsaint says:

I don’t think they will Dylan unless the island comes up from the bottom of the sea. Maybe these ‘flash forwards’ are showing what will happen once the conclusion of the season takes place. Only thing I do know is this was the most confusing episode of the series and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s going to be a wild ride!

  74. Acey says:

@Martin Combination of those 2 I’d say, though more significant is the audience TBL stole because that’s what it will be up against regularly. The fact that it faced Lost and didn’t lose that much is a good indicator that it will rebound next week against stellar competition: The Forgotten and Leno!

  75. Worldwide Pants says:

Geez, even the Lost clip show was a close second behind NCIS!

Wonder how many folks that didn’t regularly watch Lost, and bought/rented previous seasons, or if you’re like me, forced family and friends to watch.

  76. Worldwide Pants says:

Sorry, make that close 3rd behind NCIS.

  77. Cody says:

Im happy that LOST will give V a very nice Lead in possibly a win for the timeslot

  78. Rob R says:

The brilliance of the LOST reboot is that viewers that did get frustrated last year can easily jump back in………..even viewers who only watched the first season.

  79. I haven’t watched the second hour of the premiere yet but my impression of what was happening on Lost is that the airplane scenes were from a new, alternate timeline…

  80. Matthew says:

I had watched probably less than an hour of Lost before last night (I know basically what the premise is) but, I thought the premiere was pretty easy to follow. I was just confused about Locke.

On Jimmy KImmel, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse announced the finale was Sunday, May 23. I presume this was to get out of the way of AI and the DWTS finale.

  81. Rebecca says:

Noticing Melrose’s .2 (Wow). Has there been many shows score that low are lower on prime time?

  82. val says:

Les Moonves has repeatedly said they skew older and value some of the older viewers. It could be BS. But with all that they still are number 1 in viewers and number 2 in demos. tell me where all this skewing young has gotten ABC and NBC. Fox is managed well and they have AI a huge benefit. And AI attracts 24 to 25 million viewers and a lot of them are still older folks.

  83. Mumbo says:

Ooh, my predictions for the Lost premiere were pretty close. It did a bit higher than I expected.

So, Kitchen Nightmares gets better Idol retention than Human Target, and that’s up against a huge Lost premiere. Bam.

  84. bruce says:

Network television had a huge night with several programs drawing crowds. Wonder if this was the biggest viewership night of the season when you add up all the bodies???

  85. Cody says:

I think Kitchen Nightmares will be the Friday show FOX is looking for.

  86. Don J says:

Rebecca: Melrose has been in repeats since December. New episodes don’t come back until March.

  87. Tom says:

Is it just me, or is Lara just a habitual liar? Just admit when you’re busted and drop the lame excuses!

  88. Karen says:

Sparky mentioned a Criminal Minds spinoff. What!? What!? Please, more info. about that. Anyone?

  89. Lost dropped a 10th to a 5.5 in the finals. On the plus side, my 18-49 prediction is now dead on. The first time I’ve been within a mile of predicting a premiere correctly all year and I nailed it exactly.

score one for the blind squirrel!

  90. Lara says:

Hey Tom, drop it ok?, I dont need to justify myself anymore, people can make mistakes ok?

  91. Karen, yep, they’re planning a spinoff with Forest Whitaker and it will work pretty much like the NCIS: LA pilot last season.

  92. Robert says:

LOST was amazing last night!! Good numbers for them! can’t wait to see what happens!

  93. RViewer says:

    @ Karen,

The Criminal Minds spin off pilot will be a crossover, it will be episode 5.19

I am Thrilled that The Good Wife Beat Lost in Total Viewers(I could care less about the 18-49, to me that is unimportant)/

  95. john t. says:

interesting to see that LOST lost viewers during 10:00-10:30. people probably thought it was over at 10:00 and when they switched back to ABC, they’re were like, oh crap, it’s still on!

  96. Acey says:

By my math the CM2 pilot will air mid-March. Still not sure where it’s going; I’m still standing by my guess of The Good Wife to Friday, CSI:NY to Tuesday 10 pm, then Wednesday will be comedy – CM – CM2. Such a schedule is obviously not in the best interests of The Good Wife… but unless the comedy block goes there’s only x amount of non-Friday slots and someone has to lose.

  97. ragincajun says:

Unless TGW’s numbers really drop this season, I don’t see CBS messing with its Tuesday schedule next season, especially if TGW has a shot at winning an Emmy or two. They’ll pair the CM spinoff with the original on Wednesday and move CSI: NY to Sunday. I also think they should go with the Hawaii 5-O remake on Wednesdat at 8:00 and move the comedy block to Sunday, so it would be

    Monday
    HIMYM
    New Comedy
    TBBT
    New Comedy
    CSI: Miami

    Tuesday
    Same

    Wednesday
    H5O
    CM
    CM Spinoff

    Thursday
Same (except maybe swap CSI and The Mentalist)

    Friday
    New Drama
    Ghost Whisperer
    Numb3rs or Medium

    Sunday
    60 Minutes
TAR/Undercover Boss (if UB hits that could go with one in fall and one inthe spring
    2.5 Men
    RoE
    CSI: NY

  98. Sue Maple says:

I thought last week’s NCIS was a much better episode than this week’s episode. Interesting that the ratings were better this week…..

  99. vsaint says:

Nice # for LOST. Can’t wait for IDOL & LOST to bring NCIS:LA back to earth. I watch the show, but no many of the same police procedurals.

I thought #’s would be higher, but it would have been alittle hard for the casual viewer from season 1 or 2 to watch and not be completely lost.

“Unless TGW’s numbers really drop this season, I don’t see CBS messing with its Tuesday schedule next season, especially if TGW has a shot at winning an Emmy or two.”

Yet they messed with The Mentalist which was rocking the socks off of Tuesday and is now not faring as well at 10 pm Thursday. I think CBS takes some of their hits for granted and just tosses ‘em to the back burner.

Oh yeah, did FOX mention to anybody that AI is at 9 tonight? The entire internet right now is like, “oh my god where’s American Idol?!?”

  101. forg says:

Good numbers, my prediction was 5.8 but still not a bad performance. Finally, a great Tuesday night for ABC.
Good numbers for CBS, NBC and of course FOX. I think once Glee settles in the 9pm slot on April it will get high3s to mid 4s

  102. aznfratboy says:

@ ragincajun They’re not going to revamp their entire line-up that much, this is CBS after all, they;re the safest network on the planet pretty much… CSI NY, Ghost Whisperer and Two and a Half Men have been in their respective timeslots forever, and I doubt they will launch a new at 9:30 Monday, it might hurt CSI Miami. Hawaii 5-O whatever that is, sounds like Magnum PI might go at 8pm Wednesday, the Criminal Minds spin-off will most likely go Sunday 10pm, an emotional heartfelt charity TV show isn’t likely to succeed at 10pm, so Undercover Boss will probably go at 9pm.

  103. Acey says:

CM2 at 10 pm on Sunday? NBC’s Trauma and Mercy getting second seasons are a safer bet than that.

  104. Tom says:

I agree, With The Good Wife Doing So Well On Tues Nights , I dont see CBS moving the Show To Friday Nights. The Good Wife Will Remain in its Original Timeslot, Tues at 10pm

  105. John says:

    LOST IS AWESOME.

  106. robo says:

Does this site not provide dvr results anymore?

  107. Acey says:

@robo They stopped getting the DVR numbers from the source for some reason.

  108. Vortoozo says:

I don’t think there was much of an Idol overrun. I PVRd Kitchen Nighmares and it started maybe one minute past the hour.

  109. AtCat says:

Even without Leno NBC still sucks at 10pm

  110. BigHoss says:

Lost has got to be the dumbest show I’ve ever seen. Its just got more and more crazy as it goes on. Thank goodness its gone after this year. Maybe I’ll never ever have to hear of it again. Long live NCIS!

  111. vsaint says:

And NCIS isn’t garbage. what an idiot.

  112. craiguk says:

So does nobody over 49 watch lost?

Given the total number of viewers for what was against it it appears not.

  113. Zach says:

ABC said they got 15 million viewers last tuesday…

BigHoss thats YOUR opinion… it will go down in history as one of the smartest, and best shows in history… that ISNT opinion.. thats fact…
