“THE EARLY SHOW” CONTINUES TO CUT THE GAP WITH “GOOD MORNING AMERICA” DURING THE WEEK OF SEPT. 29

CBS spins the morning show results via press release:

 

For the week of Sept. 29, THE EARLY SHOW (2.1/8, 2.71m) posted increases: up +5% in households, up +7% in viewers, and up +11% in adults 25-54, compared to the same week last year.  THE EARLY SHOW cut the gap with “GMA” by 715,000 viewers, compared to the same period last year.  The CBS broadcast also narrowed the gap with “GMA” by 35% in households, 38% in adults 25-54, 25% in women 25-54 and 22% among women 18-49, compared to last year.

CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING” WAS THE TOP SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM FOR OCT. 5

CBS spins Sunday morning ratings via press release:

For the Oct. 5 broadcast, CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (3.4/10 from 3.3/11), +8% in viewers (4.76 from 4.42m) and +15% in adults 25-54 (1.5/09 from 1.3/09) compared to the same week last year, making it the top Sunday morning news program in each category.

            Through the second week of the new television season, SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in viewers (4.66m from 4.51m), +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/08 from 1.4/08) and even in households (3.3/10) compared to last year.
