In its second week, FOX’s The Wanda Sykes Show was down from the premiere in overall viewers (2.441 million vs. 2.832 million) but held steady with adults 18-49 with a .9 rating between 11p-12a, the same as it averaged for its premiere, so there was no big drop off. It’s still doing much better than the averages for Spike Ferensten, however, it’s not up much over Spike’s last show on 10/31/09 when it had a 0.8 rating.
Update: the 10/31 episode noted above did not air until 12:53AM on the east coast and had a World Series game as its lead in. But it was also a repeat. Unfortunately I only have access to this season’s data and all the Spike F. airings from 9/12-10/31 were repeats. The repeat on 10/24 (which started on time) pulled a .3 adults 18-49 rating. The repeat on 10/10 also started on time and it had a .6 adults 18-49 rating
And for the few fans who are dying to know how Sit Down, Shut Up does at midnight, last Saturday it averaged a .5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.176 million viewers.
More people saw January Jones on Saturday Night Live last Saturday night than ever watch her on Mad Men. For all the talk I saw about how horrible she was, the ratings were definitely not bad. SNL averaged a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating and 6.634 million viewers, down slightly from the previous week with Taylor Swift that averaged a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating (tied for a season high) and 6.817 million viewers (a season high).
