American Idol Finishes With Top 2 Spots For Adults 18-49
The 2007-8 broadcast season officially ended on Sunday, September 21 and Fox’s American Idol took top 2 spots for demo adults 18-49 for the annual season, followed by NBC Sunday Night Football, House, Heroes, three airings of Dancing With The Stars, Lost and to round out the top 10, Hell’s Kitchen.
Now that the 2007-8 annual broadcast prime-time season is over next week we will begin reporting season to date adults 18-49 results for the 2008-9.

American Idol Holds Top 2 Spots For Adults 18-49
Fox’s American Idol continues to hold the top 2 spots for season to date (STD) adults 18-49, the group most coveted by advertisers, through June 29, 2008.
Rounding out the top 10 were the Tuesday airing of House, NBC Sunday Night Football, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, Moment of Truth, Heroes, Monday’s Dancing With the Stars and Lost.
Although the 2007-8 broadcast prime-time season is “officially” over, technically the season extends until the new season begins in September, 2008 and we will continue to report the season to date ratings.
