Both USA’s White Collar and Syfy’s Warehouse 13 did about the same as last week.

While USA’s Covert Affairs was down from series highs last week by 0.4 adults 18-49 ratings points and about 600,000 viewers.

Teen Mom went large with adults 18-49. Its 1.8 rating was the best for the selected Tuesday shows.

Melissa & Joey’s third outing fell noticeably from its second.

Monday Cable Ratings : ‘The Closer‘ Grows & ‘Rizzoli & Isles Shrinks a Bit & Much More

On the heels of Kyra Sedgwick winning the best actress Emmy, The Closer saw a spike in viewers.  Unfortunately (at least as far as advertising revenue goes), they were all aged 50+ viewers.  The Closer added more than 550,000 total viewers to hit 7.6 million, a season high.  But the 1.4 adults 18-49 rating was unchanged from last week.

Meanwhile Rizzoli & Isles dropped a few hundred thousand viewers, and more importantly, 0.3 ratings points with adults 18-49  to 6.4 million and a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49. It was the first time in a while (perhaps all season) that Rizzoli & Isles had fewer 18-49 viewers than The Closer.    Rizzoli & Isles has already been renewed and these are still decent numbers (great numbers, with viewers) by cable standards.

No Emmy spike due to Kate Gosselin’s appearance on the Emmy Awards.  Kate Plus 8 returned with numbers good by TLC standards perhaps, but tiny compared to Ms.  Gosselin’s ratings heyday.

At this point many of the numbers below have already been posted separately, but people still seem to love the Sunday cable numbers more than the other days, and there’s lots of stuff below we didn’t post including including True Blood’s 18-49 ratings and ratings for VH1′s and AMC’s shows.

True Blood hit new highs with both viewers and adults 18-49 and with adults 18-49, it was the top show on all of cable for the week ending August 29.

Both Haven & Eureka added some viewers from last week and each was up 0.1 ratings points with adults 18-49.  Meanwhile Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place had fewer viewers and kids 12-17 than Nick’s Victorious,  though they tied in kids 2-11.

The Pillars of the Earth rose again to a minseries high 607,000 viewers with its two part finale.

I’ve already posted about the Jersey Shore, Burn Notice & Royal Pains ratings, but Travis Yanan has some more details on those plus much more (and if you didn’t read Travis’s post on what new TV shows he’ll be watching on the broadcast networks, give it a look!).  Burn Notice & Royal Pains saw impressive gains in their summer finales.  Burn Notice was up 0.5 with adults 18-49 from last week to a 2.0 rating, trailing only the still-gaining-viewers Jersey Shore and an NFL exhibition game.

Futurama has bounced around a bit.  Last night it bounced back up  — over 200,000 viewers and 0.3 ratings points with adults 18-49 to a 1.1 rating.

Wednesday Cable: Psych Drops; Tosh.0 Down a Touch, But Still Ruled Cable + Much More

After two consecutive up weeks, “Psych” was down last night by nearly 500,000 viewers. “Psych” also dropped 0.2 with adults 18-49 to a 1.2 ratings.

After rising last week (after dropping the week before)  “Tosh.0″ dropped a few viewers and 0.1 ratings points with adults 18-49 to a 1.3 rating and 2.27 million viewers, but still ruled basic cable with the night’s top 18-49 rating.

“Dark Blue” shed a few viewers but held its 0.7 rating with adults 18-49.

“Top Chef” was strong again, pulling a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 flat vs. last week.

“Ghost Hunters” returned and scored a 0.8 rating with adults 18-49  and 1.83 million viewers, noticeably better than last week’s 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.35 million viewers for “Ghost Hunters International,” but apparently not press release worthy.

“LA Ink” was up more than 200,000 viewers and 0.2 ratings points with adults 18-49 to 1.86 million and a 1.0 A18-49 rating.

More Tuesday Cable Ratings: ‘Warehouse 13‘ Stabilizes, ‘Melissa & Joey‘ Holds Most of Premiere #s & Much More

I’ve already posted about Covert Affairs hitting series highs & summer highs for  White Collar Melissa & Joey on ABC Family dropped versus its premiere, but not by much.

After dropping 450,000 viewers and 0.2 ratings points with adults 18-49 from the previous week last week Warehouse 13 stabilized this week.  Not dropping is better than continuing to drop, but  being down and staying down isn’t great news.  Sophomore slump?

Hawthorne has been a bit up and down.  This week down ~300,000 viewers and 0.1 adults 18-49 ratings points.

Monday Cable Ratings : ‘Rizzoli & Isles‘ & ‘The Closer Up; ‘The Big C‘ Down Slightly & Much More

Both Rizzoli & Isles and The Closer were up versus last week (and they were the top two most-watched shows last week).  The Closer again had more viewers, and Rizzoli & Isles again had the better 18-49 rating.  History ran repeats of Pawn Stars last night and that seems to help Rizzoli & Isles.

Both Weeds The Big C were down a bit from their premieres in terms of  viewers, but both were stable with adults 18-49.
