ABC shows off the best nine and a half minutes of V

V 2009

ABC did something similar by making the first scene of FlashForward available online before the premiere. Now ABC has done it with V, as well.  Having seen the pilot (which I liked) for my viewing pleasure, this was the best part of the pilot, and I will watch it again when it premieres on November 3 at 8pm because it was meant for the big screen.

V has had some noted issues, with production being put on hiatus for a while to address those issues. Then ABC announced it would air the first for episodes but then put the show itself on hiatus before bringing it back sometime in the new year.

Here’s the video preview of the opening scene:

The Wanda Sykes Show promos poke fun at DVR viewers, promote Glee

Posted on 20 October 2009 by Robert Seidman

If you’ve been watching the ALCS on FOX (or perhaps other FOX programming – I confess when it comes to the scripted programming I am a guilty as charged when it comes to being a DVR viewing, ADD having m-fer!) you might have seen some of the promos.

I’m sure there will be interest in the ratings for The Wanda Sykes Show, but time will tell if we ever see any of them.  Saturday late nights on FOX have historically been a ratings data blind spot for us.  We’ll see if that changes any with The Wanda Sykes Show which premieres on November 7, 2009 at 11pm ET.

Next week on Syfy “reality” hits, Scare Tactics, Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth

SCARE TACTICS
“Ghoul Bus”

On this episode, security guards discover an abandoned school bus with one little girl inside, while everyone else has mysteriously vanished.  WWE Superstar Matt Hardy plays a violent criminal who breaks out of his physical and mental restraints to go after a doctor’s assistant. Paranormal investigators in search of an evil ghost find what they are looking for… unfortunately.   A prison guard gets his mind blown when he’s put in charge of watching a shape-shifting inmate.  Series hosted by Tracy Morgan.

Airing: Next Tuesday, October 13th @ 9/8c.

Starting tonight, NBC’s Community moves to 8pm.  Some fans are worried about the move, and it seems to have driven show creator Dan Harmon a little psycho, too.

If you love the F-word,  and screaming, and shout outs to Scrubs, you’ll love this video.
